I cannot understand some of the poor ratings this buffet has been given recently. We just returned from a trip to Vegas and ate at this buffet THREE times (two breakfasts, one dinner) because we enjoyed it so much. I therefore stand by my previous rating given back in June, 2011, that this remains one of the best buffets in Vegas! I don't know what people expect at buffets, but if they are looking for gourmet food or the top-notch quality and service found at upscale restaurants, they shouldn't be eating at buffets! Even the best buffet offerings aren't going to compare to an expensive restaurant! But, I still maintain that the quality of the food at Le Village is excellent. Their French selections - Beef Bourguignon and Bouillabaisse, to mention a couple - were excellent, the Beef Bourguignon falling-off-the-bone tender and flavorful and the Bouillabaisse loaded with fish and flavorful broth. We cannot mention Le Village without a reminder of their made-to-order crepes, still a delight which alone make a visit to this buffet worth-while! I've noticed several other buffets attempting to "copy" the crepes originated by Le Buffet, but they don't come anywhere close! At Planet Hollywood, the crepes are pre-made and kept warm under a heat lamp and don't look too appetizing! We've tried most all the buffets in Vegas but keep coming back to Le Village! During this last trip, we considered trying the Buffet at Caesars, but $50.00 for dinner, please!! If we want to pay that much, we'll go to one of their famous chef restaurants! I have to give a big shout-out to Jean, the server from Rhode Island at Le Village - she's the BEST!! A super friendly lady who is right-on with the service, and I'm willing to bet would win a Miss Popularity contest in a heartbeat. You go there often enough and find that everyone is asking for her and wants to sit in her section (Hi, Jean!!). Don't listen to the bad reviews on here - I don't know what they could possibly be thinking! :)

The service was great and the food was also very good, I had the full rack of ribs with onion rings and the Mediterranean salad which also was very very good. OMG then I really went over the top with a banana split which was so amazing!!. Definitely would recommend this restaurant!!!

I'm not of Italian descent, so I can't say this is authentic....but it's certainly excellent fare. From the wine to the horderves the pasta dishes and the veal all were delicious. As we were celebrating our 25th anniversary we were treated to a fantastic desert by our host. We well be back and often, been looking for a replacement for Regallies that closed a while back. Thanks to all for a great dining experience.

I had eat here before durign the past few years, and enjpyed it, but this trip during May 2013, I eat lunch 2 times, and didn't enjoy either, salad bar was ok, and the deserts wore fine, but not much to choice from from the hot side, ie the Chinese booth had one type of chicken dish, and mostly they had noodles dishes, thats cheap to make.

I'v ehad stayed many nights at the Gold Coast durign the years, and I've had eat many meals at the buffect, breakfest was good, and lunch ok, but dinner was poor. Well this past trip May 1023 I eat a breakfest, and it was poor, and eat brunch and also poor, with no waffles on either day. the chicken fried steak was tough, and dry, and last Fall I eat breakfest there, and then CFS was very fresh and good. they rise the price by a Dollar, and the buffect has gone down hill.

Eat lunch there, first time for lunch, its a huge buffect for a small hotel, so they must get locals to come in. Food was good, and the price was less then $10, with a great server. Will eat again, its just a ways out of town.

I am wondering where to positive comments came from, but I am positive that this has got to be the world's worst buffet, it was small and cramped and the place had a smoke filled room of scented fish, I couldn't stop coughing from the smoke of the cooking and nothing looked fresh there was film on top of the gravies and other dishes looked extremely dry. I left and got my money back.

I have perfected what I love to order here, as it's a great place for healthy fast food, I usually get a cup of their delicious egg-lemon soup and tell them to hold the extra pepper they douse on the top as it takes the flavor away from their already generously seasoned soup also I get the chicken kabobs with the salad, I am concerned about all the carbs so I ask them to hold the rice and just get the deliciously grilled kabobs with their salad and some yogurt-dill sauce, and it's a great meal!! Also their Blackberry Ice Tea is delicious and their Baklava is amazing!!

I had Chicken Piccata and their signature salad, their salad dressing was good but they could use some better lettuce that was more green, also they have great bread sticks with baked garlic in them but with my borderline diabetes I try not to eat too many carbos so I ate just one and the chicken piccata was good except when the waiter first brought it out the sauce had a film on top as if it had been sitting under a heating lamp for about ten minutes.

Ate here twice in a week since I discovered it between all the fast food joints on Rancho, a great alternative to eating high carbs with the other places and freshly made ribs with their own secret bbq sauce was wonderful, out of all the soul/BBQ themed restaurants in Vegas This is the one I highly recommend the most!

One word describes the Tuesday Night Steak Dinner Buffet and that is DELICIOUS!!!
Very well cooked steaks, a great variety of well cooked meats and veggies, and they had wonderful fresh tasting pineapple like it was brought overnight from Hawaii!! The value was great for what you got here also. I can't wait to go back for Steak night again!! So glad we went

Excellent food, Excellent Prices, Great Service! Hard to find all of these in a Vegas restaurant. I highly recommend the Baba Ganouch! Also Had the Shish Kabobs half and half with the chicken and lamb, and gotta say the lamb stole my heart! Was great. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I used Restaurant.com for a ten dollar off coupon, even with that it was 7 dollars by myself. It was a very small portion of food that was burning hot like the person put it in the microwave for ten minutes while it was already cooked, also when I ordered my food at the counter which is what you do she charged me over 2 dollars for tip, which she didn't do anything for this tip but she claimed it must be included in the price. The place was rustic and dumpy inside. And I threw out half of my food as the flavor was not only bad but it sat in my stomach all day. I have eaten and enjoyed Jamaican food other places but this has got to be the worst. I really don't recommend ethnic foods you get in Big Cities in Las Vegas, for some reason the inspectors or the quality seems extremely below standard.

Even with a restaurant.com coupon 2 meals cost us 24 dollars and luckily I ate my friends because the waitress didn't bring my complete meal, she was all smiles while giving crappy service also a big huge mean looking bald guy sat within a foot from me with a big gun in a holster which totally scared me to pieces and turned me off to dinner. He kept walking around and giving me evil glares. I got horrible gas now and I promise I will not return to this place.

This has got to be the cheapest Hot dog stand in Vegas, I mean it's just a dog but for the price you can't beat it!! There's a deli parallel to this stand that offers 3.95 dogs so why not get a few for this cheap price! :)

This is the second time I ate at a Smashburger and it lives up to it's name, it smashes apart on the first bite, I mean I have eaten at many of burger places in my life but they really need to put more yeast in their buns, the minute you pick up this burger it falls into a million pieces, If you don't like eating burgers with a fork and knife then you won't like this place.

Had the Seafood Buffet and it was disappointing for the $21.99 price. The cold shrimp were bright and shiny because of the oil they had added to the boiling process. Strictly for eye appeal. Could hardly peel them they were so slick. Crab legs were small and not slit. The salad was average at best. Service was good. Sushi was YUK!! Would not reccomend it when there are better ones out there.

For what you got this was very overpriced, I ordered Veal bucco that was tough and they took it back then I ordered the chicken saltabucco which was passable the veggies on the plate were better, I don't understand why they brought a plate that was pipping hot as the food was hot enough, and yes the service was slow and young people who didn't have a clue.

I asked for mild on my chicken curry and got hot, I don't think the Thai restaurants in Vegas understand when you want mild that means you don't want those red specks in the sauce that make the food HOT. I may try it again or just save my money and when I go to California next time get some great food there as I never had a bad Thai experience there.
