I have been raised on Barbeque...attended many competitions, and eatin some of the best BBQ around the country...This is authentic & the real deal...The pulled pork sandwiches with slaw, the ribs (all of them...baby back, st. louis, and beef), baked beans, and the sweet teas are as good as any in the country. People may have regional preference, but you'll not find a better selection of BBQ @ Homestyle cooking. Can't wait to revisit. Thanks Memphis!

Wow!! We have been trying to make it to this place for the last several visits and we finally made it!! We were NOT disappointed! From the moment we walked in the door, we had a feeling we'd love the place. It was comfy and relaxed. It smelled heavenly and we were promptly greeted and seated. The service was quick and pleasant. The food was GREAT!! We started with the southern fried dill pickles and it was a huge portion of yumminess! There were 4 on our party. Two of us ordered ribs; one baby back and one St. Louis. They were both tender and tasty and we liked the BBQ sauce a lot. One of us ordered a cheeseburger which he said was very good. The 4th ordered Chicken fried Steak and she also loved it. We also ordered both the Southern Sweet Iced Tea and the Sweet Apple Blossom Iced Tea. They were served in quart Mason jars and were wonderful! Our sides included everything from french fries and sweet potatoes to creamed corn and hush puppies. Everything was very good, especially the sweet potato and the creamed corn. All four of us left this place saying we couldn't wait to return and will indeed be doing so on our next trip.

I have been here a few times. The food is great and I love eating here. The only problem I have is the price. I think the price is a bit high but if you are needing a BBQ fix this is the place to go!

This is the perfect place for a lunch date. Great, cozy relaxed atmosphere and the employees are very friendly. Lunch for two usually costs me around $20. Gotta put the "magic dust" on your fries and BBQ. yum
