We stayed at Arizona Charlies for the Nextel Cup race in March 05 and ate at this place often. We found the wait staff fast, friendly and courteous. The coffe was a little on the weak side but overall found the food to be quite good, especially the 1/2lb burger and fries for $2.99. As one who likes to eat I never left this resturaunt hungry. All of the breakfast meals are a GREAT value. I'd eat there again..... without a doubt.

This review is of Arizona Charlie's East on Boulder Highway.
This is a rather small room. It badly needs a counter to
serve single customers but doesn’t have one. Also most of
the tables seat four. There should be more
tables for two available so you don’t have one or two
customers holding down a table that could otherwise
serve three or four. A small number of booths are also
available.
I usually stop by early Sunday morning for their
breakfast specials. They have two eggs any style for
$2.49, ham and eggs special for $2.79,
steak and eggs for $2.99. Beverages are extra.
Other breakfast items are available at a reasonable
price.
There are more specials available, but you have to
belong to the hotel's player's club to get them. Check
the sign at the coffee shop's entrance. However the
breakfast specials mentioned above are available to all.
Food is good, especially for the price. The wait staff
takes your order quickly, although there can be a wait
to actually get served depending on how busy they are.
Orders to go are also available.
All in all a nice cheap place to get good food if in the
area.

There specials are great and they are 24 hours a day ($2.99 steak/eggs) where most are after 11 or 12 midnight till 7am go here for good food at a good price.

The steak special is $2.99 as of July '03 and still quite a value. Not a huge steak, maybe 10 oz, but quite tasty and juicy. AZ Charlies East has a good vibe (and lots of full-pay VP) in their casino, and I will return.

After a hard-charging Sat night in Sin City I slept in late and needed "breakfast" around 4pm on a Sunday, and the $2.99 steak'n'egg deal at the Sourdough Cafe was the perfect answer. Even though it wasn't crowded, my buddy and me waited 15 minutes to be seated (only one group ahead of us) and we were still waiting in line when another couple slid past us using their "speed pass" card. In the meantime, we're watching people breeze into the Sunday Dinner Buffet for $7.75. Enough.
So we hit the buffet and were pleased with the decision; my review of that buffet is on this site too. Don't know what the problem was getting us seated, but this incident will make me think twice about making the trek from the Strip back to the Sourdough Cafe.

Have eaten here on several occasions for breakfast. The $2.49 caught our attention, but I usually end up getting the chorizo. The others in my party usually get the special and really like it.
On several subsequent visits, I've been getting the steak and eggs special. You really can't beat the value. Service has been really good. Ask for "the Legend" to wait on you (I think his name is John). The guy is amazing.

We have eaten here on many occassions and walk out satisfied each time. The $2.99 steak and eggs breakfast is one of the best values in Vegas. Definitely a top rate value that is worth the short drive (about 10-15 minutes from the strip)

Ate Late-Nite breakfast here--steak and eggs. The place is nothing fancy--it looks like a diner in Wyoming! But the food was good and the service friendly and informal. Certainly worth the money!

We ate breakfast here and it is a great value. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs and my sister had the $2.49 steak and egg special. We had also ordered a stack of pancakes to go with it, and the total for the meal for 2 people was around $12.00. The food was very good and so was the service.
