The food is great - if a little fancy for my taste. I don't normally eat dessert, but decided to give it a try ---- Am I glad I did. The apple pie and ice cream was Fantastic. A little pricey.

ate lunch with my aunt and a friend at emerils. i had crab cakes they were small but great, my aunt had salad with grilled chicken, my friend had roast beef sandwitch, we all drank tea. was it great. the bill came to 30 dollars, i left a 10 dollar tip. the staff was wondeful to all of us , service was fast. no rest rooms, you have to leav and walk a while to get to a bathroom, that was the only problem. cant wait to go backl again.. this was during the week and it wasnt too busy. weekends must be crazy.. lunch is a better deal.

We stopped in for lunch. We had eaten both lunch and dinner at Emerils a couple of years ago and couldn't wait to go back. Our lunch this trip was a big disapointment. My wife ordered the Seafood Slider Trio. This was three small sandwiches (Lobster and Bacon, Shrimp, and Crab). My wife was not pleased with either of the sandwiches. I ordered a bowl of the seafood gumbo and the Grilled Burger with Steak Fries. The gumbo was just ok. The burger was very ordinary. The fries were stuck together and very greasy.
I might add, that I noticed a couple seated at the next table and the woman was not pleased with her Shrimp dish. She told the waiter and they took the meal off the bill.
We're not sure whats going on with emirils? But the food and service seems to have dropped off since our visit a couple of years ago. The remodel doesn't have that friendly feeling and the service staff seemed not to interested in taking care of the customers.

My husband and I was very disappointed with dinner. It was way over priced for the food they had. We do not mind paying big bucks for excellent food but their little salmon dish was not worth $32. We went to Mesa Grill (Bobby Flay) and absolutely loved it. It was better quality in taste and the presentation of the food was absolutely gorgeous. We ordered a similiar salmon dish to Emerils and paid only $22 for it.

As a chef myself, I must say this was excellent! I ordered the special, a filet topped with crab, served on mashed red-skinned potatoes, and garnished with 4 large shrimp. I was in heaven and never wanted the plate to be empty or my stomach to be filled. DH ordered the Cowboy Steak; I thought it tasted like meat with ketchup after tasting mine, but he loved it. I also had the Lobster Bisque (not on the menu, but available); simplicity at its best, very bold flavors. His salad was okay, but he wasn't overly impressed.
Service was outstanding, our 3 servers were all friendly and attentive.
Can't wait to go back!
$160 for 2, entrees, soup/salad, 2 mixed drinks each, tip.

Man, I really looked forward to eating at this place. WHAT A MISTAKE! This fat, "head-honcho" looking guy handed me a wine list and after looking it over, I saw no chenin blancs or White Zins. I asked him about it and he promptly looked down his nose and galsses at me and spouted " We don't serve blush wines here"
Oh well EXUUUUUUSE ME! I don't tolerate anyone talking down to me in that tone. Especially in front of my wife. I like all wines but my wife likes the "candy" type wines so that is what I was looking for.
We stayed and ordered a meal that showed what they are truly about. PORTION CONTROL. We both walked away hungry.
The atmosphere is severly lacking. You are sitting so close to the other tables that the waiters can't get thru. If THIS is what Emeril is all about, he can move back to the swamp.
1 Hour wait in line WITH a reservation
Cattle car seating
Food comperable to a Wendys
And wait staff that are the rudest I have EVER come across.
Prices: Rediculous

FABULOUS time! This dinner was wonderful. I would call it an "experience". Our server was fantastic--not like most other restaurants in Vegas that try to shove you in and out. The wine list was beyond excellent and our food was divine right down to the after-dinner lattes. If you come, you MUST order the BBQ shrimp appetizer. It was soooooo good and contains 31 ingredients. We ordered four glasses of wine, an appetizer, two entrees and two lattes and our bill was $129. Really a great value for a place like this. We will definitely be back!
