The place stunk like something was rotting in the back, the food was not that good either, it really went down hill. The seats were all ripped up and everything went up in cost.

The waitors appear to be in a daze. I have to wave my arms and shout to get their attention. And the restaurant is not even half full. On top of that, they are rude and they took the wrong order. And the BBQ food is not of the standard I expected, maybe NY and SF Chinatown or even Cantonese BBQ hawker stands I had in Malaysia or Singapore has raised my bar but other than sweet and salty taste I do not detect any aroma from the BBQ meats. Its the worst meal I had in Vegas.

Don't go to Sam Woo's when it's busy like I did, you can't even get them to give you some rice , I usually get the braised chicken pot and it had no chicken in it but all bones and where there is usually sauce there was none, was a bit disappointed.

As good as you're going to get in Vegas. Much better than the hotel chinese restaurants.

If you want authentic Chinese food, Sam Woo is the place to go. Typical Chinese restaurant atmosphere: busy, loud, a bit warm, but that seems to go all away when you are seated and digging in to the best Hong Kong-Style Chow Mein in the city! Best to go here a little later in the evening, not during rush hour, or you'll run out of patience as the waiters/servers tend to be a tad slow in getting back to you with your drinks, taking your order or getting your order to you, but when the food arrives it sure makes up for all of it.

Very good food. Had an assortment of dishes, including BBQ duck, and 2 soups. All
were first-rate. I was surprised to find out this was a franchised restaraunt. In every
respect, it seemed unique.

We didn't eat in the restaurant but we ordered from the take out side and let me tell you................the best damn char siu (barbecue pork) I have ever tasted and the roast duck is to die for!! If I didnt live in Henderson I'd eat at sam woo everyday!! Only thing I hate is the longggggggg lines but that is a good thing because it means everyone else loves the food too. The prices can't be beat either. We need a Sam Woo in Henderson!! and I'm not talking Green valley either.

Best Chinese food ever and I havent eat there yet!
