I was anxious to try some yummy european food here in vegas but I have noticed and especially when you go to places like this how expensive it is to eat speciality food compared to back home. There wasn't anything special about this resturant, the place was way in the back by tony roma's as it took me several drives up and down sahara to figure that out and the resturant itself was very dingy looking as well as the prices were WAY TOO HIGH! I decided that it was gonna cost with two meals and a drink per person with tip around 75 dollars...I'll save the dough for my next summer trip to Germany and have a shnitzel for 5 bucks thanks.

I love German food and have yet to find great Schnitzel in Veagas. I was hoping I would find it here, but not so. The breading was soggy. The brown gravy had a good taste (better than Hofbrauhaus), but the meat itself wasn't great. We also tried the brats that were supposed to be "grilled to perfection" and there weren't even any grill marks on the links. The rest of the food lacked flavor. We had to add salt to everything. And our waitress was rude and told us how she didn't like America and missed Germany. I'm glad other people had better luck, but I won't be back.

I cannot rate the dining expierience, as I could not enter the restautant, because my wheelchair would not fit. I hate that I was unable to eat there as the food and expieriences sound great.

I found the Cafe Heidelberg the BEST Best Ethnic and the Steak and Dumplings were really GOOD.... I have sent others and they found the expereince I did was great food, great fun for all ages. Food cook well, freash and hot. 5 stars from me.

I had the Oktoberfest Platter. It was a huge plate consisting of a bratwurst, a stuffed cabbage roll and a pan fried schnitzel. It came with a large portion of buttered herbed spaetzle,sauerkraut, and a sweet/sour red cabbage dish....a lot of food. My companion had roast pork in a delicious rich gravy with an overdose amount of seasoned fried sliced potatoes and red cabbage. A carraway seed rye bread was also served. We both also had a bottle of German beer. After such a big meal dessert was out of the question. The waitress said that she had made the strudel herself so we took so we took some home with us. It was very good. This was our second time at Cafe Heidelberg and we'll go again. Bill before tip was $54.

Great dinner, we loved the meal and the service was fine and friendly. Very generous portions (average price per meal seems to be about $20) Good German
beer selection (duh).

They have a good selection of German beers.

The food was 100% authentic german cuisine. Portions are very large and usually I can not finish what I ordered. They also have a deli and a German market.
