This restaurant has been selected as the Best of Las Vegas in both the Power lunch and Gourmet categories and who am I to disagree? I chose the 3-course prix-fix diner saving us a whopping $3 over ordering a la carte. Our meal began with warm potato and raisin rolls – delicious. We were also served a complimentary dollop of seafood salad on a fried wonton. We shared the Hugo’s BBQ shrimp with Maytag blue cheese slaw appetizer which is amazing. My entrée was halibut Lindquist, seared fresh halibut on a bed of garlic spinach with buttermilk onion crust topped with fried onion rings. Ms. Westie’s entrée was sesame seared ahi tuna with Asian veggie slaw, fresh cilantro and ginger soy butter sauce. We also shared a piece of goat cheese cheesecake that sounded far better than it tasted. By the time our waiter arrived with a complimentary dessert, (2) each chocolate truffles, lemon bars and peanut butter bars, we were satiated and requested a doggie bag.

We celebrated a friends 50th Birthday last Sunday. The food was wonderful and the service superior. We didn't feel rushed or pushed. We had the Littorai from Hirsh Vineyards 2002 and at half price of $75.00 was well worth it. Common sense would tell one that if the company is good, the food can be average. In this case, I could have dined with thieves and still enjoyed the evening.

My first visit to LV and heard so many great things about RR I had to try it. I was very happy that I did, we had a wonderful time. From the moment you enter you are treated like Royality. The staff and the food are the best. A word of warning if you smoke do not select the smoking section, there is none..you are in the lounge area..If there is a loud customer, you get to hear it all..

Oh man, the taxi ride sure is really eight miles! The unassuming storefront really hides a beautiful
interior, and we sat down in eager anticipation of a great meal, as the smells eminating from the open
kitchen were mouth-watering.

Too bad our waiter was really, really annoying. One of these guys who is all slick-talk, with pre-
prepared smarmy platitudes about the hotel we're staying at, and no personality of his own. Awful. The
kind of jerk who is just pitching for a large tip and doesn't give a toss about the customers. We are
non-meat eaters (though I go for fish), so we asked him to recommend the best vegetable and fish
things on the menu. Later he serves us some meaty appetisers... DOH! Made him take them back pretty
quick. This is a mistake that should not happen in a top class restaurant.

We had previously been wounded by humongous American portion sizes, so chose to share a fondue
appetizer, with really fresh vegetables and other treats to dip in it. Delicious.

I had the crispy skin striped bass. A great piece of fish, served on a bed of small shrimp, potato hash,
hush puppies, and a very rich sauce. Everything on the plate was delicious, yet I thought there was too
many flavours for one plate. I am all for trying to give it all in one dish, and I had a similar meal at
Gordon Ramsay in London, where the bass was dangerously served with tiny potato circles with cream
cheese dollops, and a bed of vegetables with truffle shavings, all drizzled with a rich pesto oil.... and he
rode the fine line between just enough and too much. This meal at Rosemary's went over the line, and
left my pallete a little confused. I think simplifying the dish by removing one ingredient or perhaps
making a sauce that doesn't overpower the delicate fish would be an improvement. Nonetheless, it was
a delicious dish.

A side of blue cheese slaw was perfect, but a bit too much, and I didn't finish it. (I hate leaving good
food).

My partner had a goat cheese ravioli which was very, very rich and delicious. Again, almost too rich to
finish the plate.

The dessert menu caused "option anxiety", but I chose lemon sponge pudding cake (fantastic) and we
shared some sorbets, whch were a rich, light and perfect way to finish the meal.

We drank a couple of glasses of wine on the wine waiter's recommendation (an American pinot, I think,
and a sticky) which were great choices and added to the enjoyment of the meal.

Rosemary's is one of our favorite restaurants anywhere. With all the big name, big buck restaurants in
town, I'd rather spend my fine dining budget with multiple visits out West Sahara. The food is always
wonderful, the service is top notch, and with the prix fixe lunch and dinner deals, they serve up an
excellent value too.

Ate here on a Sunday evening to take advantage of the 1/2 price on any bottle of wine, what a nice savings. Then took advantage of the $39 per person, three course dinner with great selections. My wife had the veal tenderloins with scallops and loved it, the appetizers and the salad were also marvelous. Ask for a waitress by the name of Donna, she was great. Reviews all of the menu options and tells you what you should split, etc. This is a place well worth the 7 to 8 mile trip down Sahara. We always rent a car, so for us the 15 minutes drive was well worth it. Total bill with tip was $150 and by the way the wine was unbelievably good and one that we would never have opted for if not half price. Go there for a special occasion.

We ate at a lot of good restaurants while we were in LV. Bouchon, 8-0-8, Commander's Palace. They are all excellent, but this was the best. Best food and best value particularly in view of the three different courses for $39.95 deal.Truly excellent food and great service. Only drawback is that it's a $20 cab ride from the Mid-Strip.

Three of us ate at Rosemary's [W. Sahara location] on a Saturday night. Everything was great from the service to the wine and especially the food! We had Veal Tenderloin, Scallops and pork chops, and all three dishes were delicious! The Carpaccio with Maytag Blue Cheese Appetizer melts in your mouth! The service was friendly and informative. Prices for our entrees ranged from $22.00 to $30.00, but were well worth it! If you want to impress a date or a business client with an excellent meal, this is the place to do it!

Rosemary's Restaurant - For Dinner

We went to Rosemary's on Sahara. When I dined at Rosemary's the menu cautioned that peanut oil was used in most of the preparations. Since I'm allergic to peanuts, I mentioned it to the waiter who told me that all of the fish entrees were marinated in peanut oil. He suggested the chicken entree which was fine, but nothing spectacular though it came with the best shoestring fries I ever had (but I wonder if they were fried in peanut oil?). It's hard for me to rate Rosemary's since with the absence of peanut oil, my dishes might not have been up to par. However, my dining partner had the carrot cake for desert which he HATED and I LOVED. So, for me, I wouldn't go back due to the peanut oil restriction. However, for others, I think Rosemary's is worth a try.
