Le Provencal in Paris Las Vegas - For Dinner

Month Visited: 11/07 - Bad Meal

My wife and I were staying at the Paris for our anniversary. We decided to try Le Provencal because my wife loves Italian food. The evening started off fine. We were waited on promptly and received our soup and salad in a timely manner, but after that the service and our desire to eat there went down hill fast. I ordered the rib eye steak. When I pay $30 for a steak I expect it to be good. This steak had no flavor at all. My complaint isn't really with the food quality though, but rather the lousy service we received. After the main course was delivered we never saw our waitress at our table again until we finally flagged her down to ask for the bill. Our drink glasses sat empty on the edge of the table. We tried to get someone to refill them, but the staff was to busy zipping by our table. Two tables next to us had had enough of their service and got a hold of a manager to complain. We finally talked to this manager ourselves and let her know about the lousy service. She offered us a free dessert, but we declined so we could just leave and get on with our evening plans. This place is advertised to have friendly, singing waiters. All I saw were staff members having little meetings with each other complaining about other staff members.

I am a Vegas resident and I will not be going back to Le Provencal again.

Le Provencal in Paris Las Vegas - For Dinner

Month Visited: 04/07 - Good Meal

This was one of the best meals we've ever had in Las Vegas. The lobster bisque was fabulous.......unbelievable. Our waiter was one of the singers who performed....he was as good a waiter as he was a singer!!!!! We were comped for this meal, but we will certainly return to this restaurant again and gladly pay!!!

Le Provencal in Paris Las Vegas - For Dinner

Month Visited: 04/07 - Good Meal

We ate at this restaurant the night before we got married. We just happened upon it walking through the Paris hotel. We were staying at Bally's.
It was a lovely evening. Not a very long wait at all for a Saturday night with a party of six. The singing waiters gave the place a lively feeling. The food was great, I was trying to eat lightly as to be sure to fit into my dress the following day, so I had the lobster bisque and it was terrific. Everyone in my group really enjoyed their meals, including my father, who can be fussy. From the bread to the entrees to the wine. A nice setting in a great hotel.

First time here. Was pleasantly surprised. Took my mother, she had the lobster bisque and I had the breaded calamari and squid. Very good starters. We split a seafood pitza and had wine. Used connection comps to pay for meal. Price was reasonable anyhow. Would come back here again.

Le Provençal in Paris Las Vegas - For Please Select

We ate at Le Provencal by luck of the draw. We wanted Italian and the Concierge suggested and made reservations for us here. We ate a late dinner after seeing a show only to realize that this restaurant is a show in and of itself. We loved the atmosphere - - the servers sing OPERA!! The food was very nice and an excellent value as was the wine. There were four of us dining for dinner with appetizers and two bottles of wine and our bill was around $180.00.

Le Provençal in Paris Las Vegas - For Lunch

Month Visited: 11/03 - Undecided

Our meal was ok. Nothing more, nothing less. We had just flown in and were starving. You won't walk away hungry or angry if you eat here, but you also won't walk away raving about how great it was. There are plenty of better restaurants at the Paris (Mon Ami Gabi was great!).

Le Provençal in Paris Las Vegas - For Dinner

Month Visited: 09/03 - Bad Meal

We called the hotel (Paris) to recommend a FRENCH restaurant serving boulliabasse(sp?) and they recommended Le Provencal, which turned out to be more Italian than French.
The lobster bisque was served lukewarm and had to be sent back. The boulliabasse was temperature perfect but tastewise, so-so. The seafood in it consisted mainly of mussels, fish and a couple of shrimps. The singing waiters and waitresses were wonderful and made the dining experience less painful.
