It appears Excaliber has shut down one of the best places on the strip. Their salad dressing is out of this world. We stay at Excaliber when visiting Vegas just to eat at Sir Galahad's.

We have been going to Las Vegas for the last 10 years and each time we go we eat at Sir Galahad's at least twice. It is by far our very favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. We will be there again in just a few weeks ans have just found out that Sir Galahad's is closed. We are so surprised by this and extremely disappointed. Their prime rib cannot be beat, the staff (Archie and Patsy in particular) are wonderful, and the value is amazing. How very upsetting it is to hear that they are no longer opened. I called the Excalibur to ask why and all they say is that they have been closed for a few months and don't know if they will reopen. I certainly hope they do!!!

My wife and I make Sir Galahads one of the places we eat each time we visit Las Vegas. We travel to Vegas about four times a year and eat at a variety of restaurants, but try to make a stop each time here. Sir Galahads is a very nice experience with great food. Our server (Archie) has always done an excellent job in making our meal enjoyable. The prime rib is top-notch, and there is lots of it. They also make a very unique salad that my wife really likes. The atmosphere is also very nice (quiet, dimly lit, friendly staff). Unfortunately, the last three times we have been to Vegas Sir Galahads has been closed (for the winter is what the message says). The information we got was they were going to be re-modeling. We hope they open again soon as this is our favorite restaurant in Vegas.

My wife and I ate here new years eve. Service was great even though it was very busy!!! Food and drink was timed perfectly, not too fast or slow. Around 10p.m. it did get a little loud, due to noise makers and new years drunks. Prime rib was the best I've ever had!

Shrimpees were so delicious...along with steak, bread, spinach, etc. However, 2 out of 6 people got food posioning. me being one of those people. Good food but will never go again.

I had wnated to try this place out for sometime and we finally managed to stop in on our last trip. Both the wife and I are prime rib fans and this is a place for prime rib.
The meal was a very good meal with generous portions of prime rib served. Our slices were cooked exactly as we asked and the prime rib is sliced to order from a cart at table side. The salad is tossed at table side as well and we would have prefered just a simple salad with our choice of dressings, but it wasn't bad.
They could keep the traditional English pudding they served with the meal. IMO, it had no flavor or substance at all. Since I had never had it before, I have no idea if it was a good representation or not.
Overall we enjoyed our meal, the service and the atmosphere. It's a place we'll consider returning to when in the mood for some really good prime rib.

We ate here just before closing and found the wait staff friendly but unattentive. We had to pour our own wine. We both ordered the prime rib dinner. The prime rib was good, but the sides left a lot to be desired. I didn't like everything floating in the au jus. The food was okay, but we wouldn't go out of our way to dine here again.

I had the Prime Rib medium rare and it was thick and cooked to perfection. It was also carved at my table which made for a nice effect. Service was great too. Plan to return the week of Easter 2004.
