- Good Meal
I was starving and chose the Sherwood Forest Cafe because it was convenient. I had the best Blackened Chicken sandwich I have ever tasted. The chicken breast was very thick and juicy and the fries were very fresh and hot. I enjoyed my meal tremendously and would recommend this eatery to everyone. The prices were reasonable, too!

We ate lunch and breakfast there. Both meals were very good, but breakfast was exceptional. Good service. A little pricey, but no more than anywhere else we ate at.

Great food at a great price and available 24hrs.
Had one of the worst steaks ever in a very high class restaurant in Vegas the next night went to this cafe and had a great t-bone for a fraction of the price. Ended up having breakfast here for five days and dinner for three that's how good it was. Always had good service.

Of all the 24/7 cafe's in Vegas, this was are favorite. The food was good, the service was good, and we didn't wait long to be seated even though they were usually busy. We will definitely eat here again.

Service was bad due to a "shift change." Any shift changes should be transparent to the guests. As for the food, the Philly Cheesesteak was too dry and low quality. Not worth it. Soda was a rip off too at $2.50 with the casino just outside and you could get soda for free while you gamble.

The food was good the service good and friendly. The price well all of the resturants on the strip are not as low cost as you would hope. The value is here is better than most on the strip.

(original comment 7-17-05) We ate here Sunday night July 17th. Service was good, food was good for a coffee shop and portions were large. Prices are always high at every coffee shop in Las Vegas! I guess hotels know that people will pay it anyway, no matter how high. When other coffee shops throughout the country serve hamburgers for around $5 why would you feel you have to pay $8 or more? This is not just this restaraunt but all coffee shop style restaraunts in all Las Vegas hotels.
(9-26-05 update) My brother and I were here for the PGA convention and decided to have a late meal. Food was great as last time and price was what I expected. Had a meatball sub and fries, waitress brought a whole pitcher of diet coke just for me and I had to take half my sandwich back to the room (made a good breakfast the next day). This place consistantly has good food where some other hotel coffee shops are a lot worse. My problem is the waitress was running ragged and finally told us she was sorry but they were closing down the kitchen for the night. Now, at 11pm why were they doing that when all the posters in the elevators stated the Sherwood cafe was a 24 hour coffee shop? Either keep the place open all night or update the elevator information!

Actually we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at Sherwood forest...My brother had a free meal for his birthday so it paid for both my sister-in-law, me and my other brother..Very generous to you on your birthday...Breakfast was fantastic, lunch was this HUGE burger and fries i could not finish half of it...Dinner i had the beef fajitas and they were excellent..Staff was very quick on our order and very friendly...Iam going back to Excalibur this Saturday and i can't wait to eat there again...A WONDERFUL CAFE...open all nite also...I thought the prices were very generous compared to all other hotels...think you can get any cheaper, think again...Its Vegas ppl, everything will be higher then normal...

We had three meals at the Sherwood Forest Cafe, two breakfasts and a lunch. All the food was excellent. We had tuna salad sandwiches for lunch, and the tuna salad was cold and fresh. And all the breakfast food was also fresh, and very good. We didn't have to stand in a long line to eat. I think one time there were two people ahead of us, although we never ate there at dinner time. Our food came quickly, was not overpriced, and the wait people were friendly and efficient. We enjoyed eating there which is why we ate three meals there. Definitely a good place to eat.
