Depending on who you asked in my party, the meal was hit-or-miss. I thoroughly enjoyed my filet -- cooked just right at medium rare. Had the asparagus as a side, very thin cuts which was a surprise for a "premium" steakhouse. Both of my friends had the bone-in Kansas City strip -- recommended by the waiter as a better cut than the standard NY Strip -- and both wished they had stuck with their original selection. WOW!!!! Friends of ours had eaten at the Luxor Steakhouse and raved about it. All we could think of was why was a great steakhouse in a place like the Luxor??? We have always thought of the Luxor as a kid-saturated, run-down casino/hotel. But, as other reviewers have noted, once you enter this restaurant, you are transported. This place is elegantly appointed and has the highest calibre of wait staff. Our waiter, John, was marvelous. The food?? Unbelievable!!! Just be careful and go easy on the sides. We both ordered the garlic mashed potatoes to go with out filet....we could have easily shared one order of the potatoes. We will be back to this steakhouse. While our evening was a bit expensive, it was worth every penny!!!    18158

This restaurant is amazing. You enter and are automatically transported out of Vegas into a world of total class where your every whim is cared for.
The food is superb, the service outstanding and the decor pure class. Eating here was my best dining experience in Vegas. Luxor Steakhouse ranks with the best of the best anywhere. It is not cheap, but the quality, size of servings and beautiful display are certainly worth it.
And as stated the service was above par and oh so friendly. Children are allowed but leave them away and let this be a place for the adults to enjoy. Such pleasure comes along very infrequently. Enjoy. I will certainly be back.    17840

Meal was great. Everything was well prepared and very good. Only complaint was the speed of service. It was at least 45 min. from the time we ordered until our food arrived. Meal prices can always be deceiving. A couple of glasses of good wine each and the total bill soon approaches double. Overall nice and will eat there again in March.    16806

Expensive - and worth it. Top notch steakhouse. Beautiful interior - king of warm, stuffy gentlemen's club feel. You kind of expect to see Randolph and Mortimer Duke sitting at the next table. Was very surprised at the lax dress code. Men in shorts and sandals. Women in jeans and t-shirts. This took a little away from the atomosphere. If you like red meat, this is the place. Our group enjoyed fabulous prime rib, ribeyes and a great filet. The side orders are good and plentiful. Perfectly cookes asparagas and potatoes. Tremendous desssert selection. The creme brulee was outstanding and their hot fudge brownie creation was amazing.

Great pricey food in an upscale room. Better then Charlie Palmer's (Mandalay Bay), House of Lords (Sahara), Camelot (Excalibur), Savannah (Tropicana)or Bally's Steakhouse. On par with Blackstone's at Monte Carlo and a touch below Prime (Bellagio).    15998

Ate here 1 night during my 6 night stay. Food and service were excellent. Everything on menu is ala carte. Ordered the prime rib which was cooked as ordered and delicious. Went on a very busy Friday night around 8:00 PM and was seated within 1/2 hour despite not having a reservation.    14999
