We never knew mexican food would be like this. So used to the "corporation-style" mexican restaurants. It was refreshing. I did have a bad "taste" in my mouth. I was watching your employees and I have to tell you that the female bartender you have is very rude and lazy. If she is the senior bartender, I think I can understand that but she bosses people around when apparently they are doing their own job. I just felt that you should be notified. She needs to have her attitude adjusted. I feel sorry for her fellow bartenders, workers and managers. She is a bad seed.

Schlotzsky's Deli - For Dinner

Outstanding food here! If you are expecting the usual tacos/nachos/burritos/enchiladas all smothered in shredded iceberg lettuce, cheap red sauce and melted cheese, then this is not the place for you. Otherwise, you will be very happy. My wife had chicken tacos. These were not your usual Ortega cardboard taco shells! They were made with flat homemade corn tortillas piled with a very flavorfully sauced chicken and homemade guacamole. Red rice, green rice, and black beans on the side. Delicious. I don't remember the name of the dish I had, but I will describe it. It featured a marinated and grilled whole chicken breast. On the side was a watercress salad with a light dressing and toasted pistacio nuts, charro beans, and a huge hot homemade flour tortilla. Fabulous! I could have just eaten my weight in those tortillas. For those who like Indian food, the tortilla tasted exactly like good nan bread. The service was attentive, though the place was practically empty since we were there early. I thought the decor was kinda weird and bland. Perhaps a direct contrast to the food? Anyway, we thought the meal was superb.
