Cheeseburger at the Oasis - For Lunch

The WORST frozen hamburger patty you could spend $9.00 on! The burgers are no larger than a McDonald's 1/4 pounder. The only flavor these burgers have is of rancid grease. A side order of seasoned steak fries is $4.00, bringing this ultra low quality meal to the $14.00 mark, without tip. The place was full of tourists, and I didn't hear a single positive comment. Everyone just sat there choking on these awful burgers, without conversation.

My husband and I ate at Cheeseburger the second week in June. We got there probably about 2pm and had no trouble getting seated right away. Our server was cheerful and efficient and a lot of fun (Robyn, maybe?). I will say that I kind of remember thinking we were lucky to be seated in her section because some of the other servers didn't seem to be as great. Anyway, we couldn't decide whether we wanted breakfast or lunch, so we both settled on these glorious bacon cheeseburgers with a fried egg on top. Sounds strange, but wow it was good. We saw that burgers weren't served with fries so we split an order or onion rings and they were fabulous. I know some people were upset about the lack of free fries, but for crying out loud, spend a buck and enjoy yourself. You're on vacation! The atmosphere was fairly quiet (except when our server dropped an entire tray of full glasses, which was very funny--ice cubes and sodas everywhere and she handled it with humor and grace), and we were able to watch a stage show out in the Desert Passage while we ate. I would recommend this place to anyone--in fact I was a little disappointed that we forgot to go back for another meal before we went home.

Went to dinner here for a "light" meal (compared to the buffets). I sat at the bar, watched baseball, and had a burger and fries. The bacon cheeseburger was excellent. It didn't look that big when I started, but turned out to be plenty. It had lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, and four thick crispy slices of bacon. Very tasty. The burgers don't come with fries. I ordered them on the side. The serving is a large portion of seasoned fries that are also tasty.
Service was very friendly and efficient. Not only were the bartenders friendly, but the people sitting at the bar were also friendly. The bar is set up as a horseshoe, with maybe 12-15 stools. It's small enough that the whole bar can share in a conversation, and we did. Everything from the baseball on TV to politics to things to do in Vegas.
The burger, fries, and an iced tea were about $14 or $15 plus tip. I thought it was a very good meal for a reasonable price.

One of the best burgers to be found anywhere - and I've eaten them by the thousands all over the world in search for the perfect cheeseburger. I had the double cheeseburger with bacon and classic margarita for lunch and it was hot, juicy, and delicious. So good I came back the next day for more and added some cheesefries to the order. This place is in my "top ten" for burger joints worldwide.
This is NOT your classic fast food slider, it's a REAL cheeseburger, the way it was meant to be.

Talk about a place that doesn't meet expectations in service, value and food, this is the place. This burger joint is best suited on top of the Stratosphere tower because the menu prices are that high and my server nose was pointed in that direction. I was very underwhelmed with the service and the quantity and quality of my meal.
On June 2, 2004, I had a cheeseburger priced at $8.95. I asked my female server(who was very arrogant) does it come with fries? She said no! I asked how come your burgers don't comes with fries? She said, I don't know. I had to by this shirt (Her work shirt) for $52.00. Like, why should I care about her out of pocket expense for uniform cost? If she has a problem for paying that much to have the proper attire for employment, she shouldn't be employed there. I asked how much the fries were and she told me $3.50. She offered to bring me a half for basket for free. Well she did and I was charged.
My server was never around when I needed my ice tea refreshed or to dispute the charges. In stead, I found her wonder off talking to other friends or not in my site. This was around 10:30 at night so, it wasn't like she was slammed and had other tables.
The next morning, I went to speak to the manager. I was told by an uncaring waiter that the manager was too busy to come out to speak to me. He was doing inventory. Again, the waiter's demeanor clearly demonstrates this operation complacency towards towards people who ate at their unprofessional establishment. If the manager would have come out and talked to me, I wouldn't take the time to warn other travelers to shun away from the place.

Cheeseburger at the Oasis - For Breakfast

Ate here for breakfast on 2/26/03. Wife ordered OJ and ham & cheese omellette. I ordered coffee and hawaiian omelette. Waitress dropped food on table and did not say a word. No utensils or napkin. Wife did not get OJ and I did not get the omellette I ordered. No one ever returned to ask if everything was okay (It was not) or to offer refill of coffee. Complained to waiter, no apology. Then complained to cashier and her only response was "what do you want me to do?" No apology and no manager available. I wouldn't eat here again if the food was free. Too many other GREAT places to get a decent meal with SERVICE.
