Highly recommended!!! My fiance and I ate at Delmonico's on our first night in Vegas (5-12-04) on what was turning out to be an awful day (missed flights, late flights etc.) We were actually going to be late to the restaurant and had to push back our reservation which they were very nice about and we still got seated immediately when we arrived. The service was excellent!!!! We had three servers, I believe the captains name was Scott, and he was just awesome, we were put completely at ease. They attended to everything we needed, made several very good suggestions and I even got a special appetizer from the cook because I was celebrating my birthday that day.
As for the food, also excellent. I had the Filet Mignon with a side of garlic mushrooms and my fiance had the Chateaubriand with Smashed potatoes, both were delicious. It is pricey but actually not bad when compared to some of the other similiar restaurants in Vegas. Our bill with tip came to around $150 for 2 drinks, 2 entrees, one side and a shared dessert.
We definitely plan on going back on our next trip out there, it is well worth it and made our bad day just a vague memory. One thing to note: Do make reservations well ahead of time, they fill up fast.

MY FRIEND & I ATE HERE & WE BOTH JUST LOVED IT. OUR STEAKS WERE FABULOUS. THE HOST MARK ALEXANDER & SERVER RENE' WERE VERY ATTENTIVE TO OUR SERVICE. WE WILL BE BACK FOR SURE. THE DELMONICO POTATOES WERE A BIT BLAND BUT EVERYTHING ELSE WAS GOOD. SPECIAL THANKS TO MARK & RENE' FOR MAKING OUR DINING EXPERIENCE GREAT.

I have read other comments here, and got so angry at some, that I felt that I should place my comments. People here have complained about the price, as well as the over-attentive staff. This is what you get at a fine restuarant. You are going to pay a little more, and you service will more than make up for it. In fact, I would be angry if the staff was not attentive to my needs. There are not five waiters. In fact, there are not "waiters." Each person the services you, has a distintive role in the restaurant. The "waiter" is actually called the "captain." Each of the other staff members have a specific role that assists your "captain" in making you feel as thought you are the most important person in the restaurant. I have been there twice now, and just made reservations for our up coming trip to Vegas. I might cosider myself a person who appreciates good beef. The bone-in rib steak is the best that I have ever had. I look forward to trips to Vegas, just so we can go to Delmonico's Steakhouse. This is one of our favorite restaurants. You can't expect to go to this type of restaurant and pay Sizzler prices. Furthermore, if you only eat at Sizzler, this is not the restaurant for you. This is for people that can appreciate the finer things (like good steak) in life. I would also be so bold to say that if you do not appreciate good beef, or lamb for that matter, you probably won't notice how outstanding the quality is here. Also if you have your steak cooked so well-done, that it is like charcoal, you are also missing the point. The steak here is wet and dry aged. This makes it flavorful and tender. A well-done peice of meat will tend to dry out and would not be as good. This meat is meant to be had medium-rare. This is the best way to showcase the true flavor of the meat. I used to eat my steak well done. Then I met my wife. She is a chef and she taught me to appreciate such things. Now i only have my steak medium-rare, wow what a difference. Anyway, i will step down off of the soapbox, and tell you this is one of the best restaurants in Vegas. If you like good beef or lamb, this would be a meal worth splurging for.

The arugula salad's were very oily. We had the Delmonico steak and Tuna plates. The steak was cooked perfectly no doubt, but it didn't taste like anything but unseasoned meat. The tuna was well prepared also, but again didn't have much flavor. The Delmonico potatos were too firm and not very flavorful.
For desert we had the blackberry custard pie (which was old) and the chocolate peanut butter surprise which was pretty good. 3 glasses of wine, the meal and tip was $177.00 WOW !
For the money it was a terrible terrible value. Emeril's fish house in the MGM is much much better.
Emeril, if you read this, straighten out that place and improve the food quality.

We went here because my brother raved about how good Emeril's other dining establishments were. I was not impressed in the least. Don't get me wrong, I love Emeril, but I think he is trying to make a pretty penny on anyone who goes into this place.
The menu was way too expensive for what you got. I got steak and I had a better steak at the Steakhouse at TI for half the price.
I also didn't like how you have about six waiters. I felt like they were standing around watching me eat the entire time. I hate that kind of stuff.
I got banannas foster ice cream cake for desert, expecting it to be out of this world, because Emeril always makes it on TV and I didn't like it at all.
Overall, this place is way over priced and Emeril's food isn't any better than any other high-class place. Save some money and go to the Steakhouse at TI.

On Dec 21,2002, my fiancee' and I were married in Las Vegas, and my now husband and I had our wedding dinner at Delmonico's and it was the most wonderful experience I ever had. My night included a wonderful, new husband, wonderful atmosphere, wonderful service and the food was superb. When we visit Las Vegas again, You can be sure Delmonico's is at the top of our list. Thank You for a night I'll always remember.

My new bride and I went to the Delmonico for a late dinner on our wedding night after seeing "O" at the Bellagio. I had planned the whole evening based on information I had gathered online before our trip and I have to say that I was very pleased with my selection of this steakhouse for our wedding night dinner.
The food was very good (I can't say that it was great), but we were so stuffed from our lunch at the Grand Lux Cafe, that we really didn't need to eat dinner, but we went anyway.
The service was simply stellar! I can't say enough good things about that. We had a wait team of three people and the only time we saw them was when we needed something. We didn't have to ask for a single thing during the meal or hunt down one of them. They did an excellent job (and were tipped accordingly).
My final verdict on this place is this: for a special occasion, the Delmonico Steakhouse is an excellent choice. For a regular meal, you can probably do better as far as the value of food for your dollar. However, if you really enjoy service, this is the place for you.
I doubt that I will return, but that is only because there are so many restaurants in Vegas and I visit so infrequently, I don't want to pigeon-hole myself into just one place... there may be better and I love to try new things. The Delmonico is definitely first class though.
