GeeBee's is a good bar & grill in the Vegas area. If you are coming from the north heading south, you have the throw a U to get there but I would say it is worth it. It is too dark inside, which is fine if it is nighttime but during the day, not so much. We went for lunch. The cole slaw was delicious. The French Dip was better than any other bar & grill I have tried in Vegas. The one thing I do not like about any of the bars & grills in Vegas is that they all use soybean oil to fry. This is probably because it is the cheapest oil on the market. Government agencies are requiring the use of "non-trans-fat vegetable oils" so I get that they cannot use something that would enhance the flavor of fried foods, but the problem with soybean oil is that it not only makes everything you fry or grill with it taste like plastic but also that it causes gastrointestinal distress. I guess the point is, no one should order anything fried at GeeBee's until they switch to corn, sunflower or other oil that does not make food taste all the same and not like plastic!    20315

We stop at GeeBees everytime we are in Vegas, normally two or three times, mostly for breakfast or dinner. The food is always good, the servers always friendly and the value is great. If you have a smaller appetite, you could probably share a meal and just get an extra salad.    19186
