- Bad Meal
This is the kind of place that keeps 1/2 of the tables closed while a long line of customers have to wait to be seated. Right after checking in to the Flamingo, we were tired after traveling the whole day, so we decided to have dinner at the cafe instead of hunting a meal elsewhere. We had to wait in line for about 1/2 hour but noticed immediately that there were plenty of empty tables and booths. After asking, the hostess replied that that section was "closed". So, they're not too concerned with accommodating their customers now, are they? I ordered a $16 honey fried chicken dinner and was horrified to see that it was frozen (fried chicken) It tasted bad and looked bad too. My complaint fell on deaf ears. If I wanted a Swanson frozen chicken dinner, I could get one at a grocery store anywhere. Totally UNACCEPTABLE. There just isn't any excuse for them serving food like this at all. Don't go there, people. I learned my lesson and will never return. There are plenty of places nearby that don't abuse their customers like they do at the Tropical Breeze Cafe.

- Good Meal
Opposite of the gardens at the Flamingo, the Tropical Breeze Cafe has a nice atmosphere. The food is good, just not special. Most impressive was our waiter who took our food and drink orders without writing anything down. He was perfect on our orders for six people.

Chips and Salsa are great. Ordered the Chicken Quesadila with apples - what a great combo. The sides were great too - a lot of good food for your money.

- Good Meal
One of our favorite local restaurants! Chevy's has THE BEST chips and salsa! The service is sometimes a little slow, but it's usually worth the wait. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious. My favorite is the spicy chicken flautas. Hubby always orders the chicken quesadilla... which is an appetizer, but he has it as a meal. Casual atmosphere. If you go before 6 o'clock it's generally pretty empty. Family friendly.
