My wife introduced me to Ichiza and I was pleasantly surprised to find a Japanese restaurant that is worthy of making plans for a return visit. The food and service were excellent and exceptionally priced; you won't be burning a hole in your pocket (or wallet) here. Definitely one of the best "hole in the walls" I've experienced in the city. Although it sounds clichéd, I say check Ichiza out, because you won't be disappointed.

The food was excellent and the cooks were no joke, as young as they were they seem to be in the zone, no horseplay just proffessionalism. Limited sushi selection but great entree dishes which all was prepared fresh. Service was always with a smile, atmosphere was great, its not one of those stamp out buffets neither. A nicely decorated "hole in the wall". I wanted to go back the next day but I was still full from the night before. And the bill was inexpensive. By the way I went back the day after. Same outcome. Highly recommend it.
