This was our first experience with Peruvian cuisine. The restaurant was very large, colorfully decorated and almost empty early on this Wednesday evening. Our waiter provided us with a complimentary platter of carrots, cauliflower, onion and cucumber marinated in a vinaigrette. Ms. Westie ordered camarones al ajillo, small shrimp in a delicious garlic sauce served in an iron skillet along with pieces of toasted garlic bread. She managed to soak up most of the sauce with some assistance by me. I ordered aji de gallina, chicken in a green, garlic-based sauce accompanied by white rice. After tendering the check, our waiter served us a complimentary shot glass filled with a delicious mixture of rum, cream and the sap of some tree. It tasted something akin to Bailey’s Irish Cream. The meal was satisfactory, but we will not be in a rush to return

After returning from Peru last summer, I scoured the city for Peruvian food and found Inka Si Senñor. My first meal there, a traditional Lomo Saltado, was slightly disappointing only because they used ready made cut french fries rather than the more traditional fried potatoes. However, since then, friends and I have tried many other dishes there including Arroz con Pollo and my personal favorite, Aji de Gaillina. My drink of choice is Cola Inglesa which is a slightly fruitier version of Inca Cola and not "bubble-gum" flavored. The service is always courteous and prompt. The lunch specials are a fantastic deal! Only slightly (and I mean slightly) smaller in portion, but with an added soup at a cheaper price. I will keep recommending Inka time and again!

I discovered this place almost a year ago, and it is my absolute favorite restaurant in Vegas. It's situated at maryland and vegas valley, it's a large white building with red and black accents. When you step inside you are truely impressed. It is very spacious, wood floors, balcony seating, walls of windows, and amazing art including some fantastic woven pictures. The service here is amazing!!! The people are almost enough of a reason to go here alone. The staff is very friendly, and they treat thier customers well. All you have to do is make eye contact and they will be there to check on you and make sure everything is ok. The food is high quality and fun. Don't bother with the mexican items, after all, this is a puruvian restaurant!!! The steaks and sea food are fantastic. All the appetizers are good!!!! The palta embarazada (who would name a dish pregnant avacado??) is avacado filled with chicken salad. OMG!!! You will cry with happiness. Or you could have any of the others and be happy, including fried yuca root (those cacti that litter the dessert) with aji sauce (which is featured in several other dishes). I prefer the Lomo Del Inca for the main course, a steak covered in thier red sauce and cheese. WOW. And while you are there, try the Inca cola. I believe it may be a coke product, but it's not what you are thinking of. It's yellow. It tastes kinda like bubble gum. So much for run of the mill cola. Alchohol. Of course. Get a pisco sour. I don't even know what the heck pisco is, but this drink rocks. I haven't tried any of the deserts, also known as Los Calorias (I think I spelled it right) on the menu, but i have had the sweet fried banannas, platos fritos, and they are good enough to be eaten as a desert :) I can not stress how much fun this place is. It's a great value and I wish more people would realize that OFF the strip is the place to be. I tell everyone I know about this place, and everyone I know who has bothered to go has been pleased. Do your self a favor and make a visit there!
