- Bad Meal
Our waiter, Raol, had a bad attitude from the get go. I knew this was going to be an expenisive restaurant. 3 couples went for a 6:00 p.m. dinner reservation. They were not busy. When we left there were many table unoccupied still... Raul was short and rude. He recited the specials like eating at a drive thru. My friend ordered chicken parmigiana and got chicken cacciatore. She sent it back. Since everything is made to order it took awhile , but it was not good when she did get the correct dish. I ordered 6 oysters at $26.00 which were very good. My husband ordered the mushroom ravioli special and it was $50.00 al la carte.I ordered sauted escaole that was drenched in oil, but the garlic was fresh and tasty. My entree so so. The cheapest house wine $14.00 a glass. One person ordered it. The rest of us ordered water or iced tea. The bus boy was the best server there. 20% was automatically put on the bill as I think Raol knew that we were not happy campers. When we left my husband took him aside and told him was were disappointed with our meal. He told us to speak to the manager. We left. The food was bad/service bad and snoby ( you work here...we dine here!!!) and it was way overpriced for what we got and the quality.
( the snapper at the next table arrived pappiette and the finished product looked like snapper cacciatore stew!!!
