Went for a quick lunch on St. Patrick's Day (yes, Mexican food on an Irish holiday!). Nachos were good, margaritas were even better. Will certainly keep this in mind for my next trip.

My first trip to Vegas and I stayed for 6 days. After eating many places and not finding anything that pleased my stomach, I ended up at Gonzalez Y Gonzalez and had the best Chimichanga ever. I do admit it was a bit to meaty for me but that was just a matter of taking some of the meat out. My server (Domino) was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was equally as pleasant. It's now November and I am still thinking about the food. In the reminding days I was there I ate at Gonzalez multiple times.

My three sisters and I had a GREAT time at Gonzalez Y Gonzalez! We started off with Cadallic Margaritas at
the bar and then were seated at a table in the patio area, overlooking a charming faux New York city
street, set in cobblestone. Our matching cowgirl hats MAY HAVE set the 'mood' but everything here was
great! The ambiance, the food and the service. We shared from each of our entrees...just because we
couldn't decide what to order....and by the end of the meal there wasn't a drop of food to be seen on any
of the four plates! If you are looking for a casual, fun place with reasonable prices, come to Gonzalez Y
Gonzalez!

We tried Gonzales Y Gonzales after reading reviews. I ordered the Chili Rellenos and my wife ordered the Fish Tacos. My rellenos were the worst I think I ever had. They were covered in way to much unflavorful cheese. The sauce had no flavor. The rice was very ordinary. My wifes fish tacos were way over cooked. We only ate about a third of our meal. I could not recommend this place.

The food was really good, try the Chili Rellenos. The "Big Willy Martini" was delicious.

We ate dinner here before going to a show. The chips were warm and fresh, the salsa's were both very fresh and had great flavor. I had a peach margarita that had just the right amount of tequila. My boyfried ordered the super burrito that was huge, I had the fish tacos (I had never had fish tacos before) they were awesome, I thought that they weould be really fishy but not at all. We will defiantly eat here again.

Great atmosphere and good food. We sat on the "patio" which is like sitting out on a new york street. Fun for people watching. The food was very good and the margaritas were too. We will go back next year!

If you want greasy, slimy mexican food, don't eat here. While this is not what one guy above called "authentic" mexican food, it is IMHO a great place to eat.
7 trips to Vegas and we make it a point to eat here every time. The chicken is some of the best I've had in a resturaunt. It's fun to "people watch" from this place. For food with a "Mexican flair".... eat here.

Fairly standard mexican food. Nothing special. Service was terrible 2 of the 3 times we ate here. In 2003 we ate here and it was in great. Last year it was disappointing. This year we went back to break the tie. We waited for 15 minutes to be seated while we stared at 6 empty tables. Then we were sat at one of those tables. Food is okay, but nothing memorable. Unfortunately even great food can't overcome bad service.
