- Good Meal
This joint seems to have a problem with the term "customer service". They will happily serve you pitchers of kamikazes or margaritas but will not serve "A GODDAMN PITCHER OF BEER"!!!
And if the bartender at the side bar is having a bad day don't try to get an overpriced tower of beer either. Ain't gonna happen.
If you want to eat here and slurp foo-foo drinks make sure to ask for Jack as your waiter. He did everything he could to ensure we were happy, but there is only so much he could do.
I had their hot chicken wings. They were tasty, flavorful, and somewhat spicy, but not "hot". When I mentioned to Jack that if something is advertised as hot I expect hot he immediately produced two bottles of hot sauce. One was wimpy and the other so-so. He then brought some "staff" hot sauce. And that was the tipping point. I enjoyed that a lot. That Jack went the extra mile to present a truly hot sauce is why I rated this a good meal. The rest of our crew felt the food was very good.
As we were staying at the Monte Carlo I had plenty of time to stop in. The only good experience was when Jack was waiting on us. The rest of the staff seems indifferent. Or maybe they don't quite get the concept of service.
My son and I stopped in one afternoon for a glass of beer away from the dinging slots.(The brewpub is closed...) The bar stools were all full but there were plenty of tables. The girl at the desk said we couldn't just sit at a table and have a beer without eating.
I believe my inexact words on leaving were, "Screw this joint. New York, New York is 200 yards away. . ."
Anyway, the food is good. Aside from Jack the service is lousy.

Food was good, drinks were expensive, Girls were plentiful. Its a fun little get away.
