Sweet Lucy's Tableside Buffet - For Dinner

- Bad Meal
When we first got to this buffet we did not realize that there were 2 lines,one to pay and the other to be seated.We got on the line to be seated 1st.There are no signs,and adding to the confusion it looked like one big line because they did not have these 2 lines seperated or roped off,even so there is no room in this corner of the casino for such lines.When we got on the line to pay they would stop taking customers for several minutes at a time until the line to be seated would go down.We decided to wait it out because the menu they had taped to the counter had pork ribs and battered cod as 2 of the selections which we liked.When we finally were seated our server brought us a menu absent these two items.The only salad available is house with an oil and vinegar house dressing.No salad bar.The desert selection is limited.I went to the register to get a refund,when I returned the server had brought a shrimp dish,roast pork loin,mashed potatoes,brocolli,and fried chicken.Nothing looked appetizing,but all fairness all I had was some garlic bread which was good.With seating for only 300 and having to ask your server every time you want something this is a very slow process.There are some items that if I had seen I would have passed on and maybe others that didn't sound good on the menu I would have tried had I seen them in a traditional buffet tray.I think this concept is flawed and was a lame attempt to cut costs.The wait is longer than other buffets because you have to keep waiting for your server to return,instead of the traditional buffet line.There was also a line of people getting refunds when I got mine,and they also complained about the items not on the menu that were supposed to be.This "new concept"doesn't work.It was poorly planned and chaotically executed.
