I ordered sesame chicken for dinner, and for the money I was expecting something good, but what
I got was just fast-food-style chicken chunks that were mostly breading. They were doused with
what tasted like sweet and sour sauce with some sesame seeds sprinkled on top. It was the kind
of Chinese food you get at a drive-thru after a night of drinking.

My girlfriend ordered the beef chow fun, which for some reason, tasted like fish. Not sure how they
pulled that off. The quality of the meat was poor. Hard to chew and it had a weird texture.

I have eaten at the Banana Leaf several times this trip. I've been there several times in past years. They have something I've always missed when visiting Vegas--Vietnamese Summer Rolls. I have them at home all the time but had to miss them out there. Very good rolls and they now have a lunch buffet, though I haven't had that yet. I didn't rate the place kid friendly because I don't know how many kids like the cuisine or even stay at the Riviera. Not that they're unfriendly or anything! Love the place and look forward to my next trip there to enjoy their food again!
