- Good Meal
It has been 20 years since we last had the courage to dine at Roberta’s, but like fine wine this restaurant has improved with age. What it lacks in ambiance is made up by a friendly staff and moderate pricing. Ms. Westie’s 8 ounce filet, served medium rare as requested, was very good though decidedly short of prime. My Chilean sea bass was perfectly cooked – crusty on the outside and moist inside, and accompanied by garlic mashed potatoes, a small fennel salad and sautéed spinach. Price of meal and gratuity minus 2/1 LVA coupon = $31.70.

El cortez is on stop we make every trip. We usually dine a Roberta's at least three times during our weeks stay. We visit Las Vegas 7 times a year and this is one of the best kept secrets. The recent remodleing has come a long way in a short period of time. good luck in the future. The area has a bad name but neve rhave we beeen bothered in our many, many visits. Enjoy seeing Jackie stroo through the casino speaking to as many patrons as he comes in eye contact with. Makes you feel just a little better than the big mega resorts where you are lucky to see anyones eyes let alone make contact. See you in september we are coming in or a week on the 14--21 and then again in October 26 through Nov 1st. Wife's birthday. Like the small sports book reminds us of home. We live in Wheeling ,WV about 1 hour south of Pittsburgh.

Roberta's is an excellent place for a great steak. The El Cortez adds some of the "old" Las Vegas atmosphere. We discovered this place through an El Cortez employee and though we usually stay on the strip a trip here is a must do.

WOW! Robertas is still hanging in strong against so many other places. It just recently added 2x1 weekday specials (Monday - Thursday) and the Wednesday night 2X1 Prime Rib dinner is a steal! They bring you an exclelent relish tray to begin the meal and all the fixings came with the entress. Nothing is over $20 and most is under $12. This is not a kid friendly place but why would you want them here? Jackie's basement has never been kid friendly. For a great meal at a greatprice, Robertas is the place!

Roberta's Cafe is still the best kept locals secret! The service is impeccable and the atmosphere is comfortable "Old Las Vegas" in a former showroom. The steaks and especially the prime rib are excellent cuts, prepared exactly as ordered. The rest is all unpretentious but delicious. I never would have discovered this place unless I received a comp from a slot floorman. It's nice not to have any children around too!
Highly recommended!!!
