Had the $9.99 Rib steak dinner which included baked or mashed potato, soup and salad bar. Food was excellent, service was awesome. Our server was very funny and made sure we got our monies worth. Best Cream of Mushroom soup ever! Rich, creamy and full of large chunks of mushrooms. Definatly not out of a can or package way too good. Looking forward to going back on next visit to Vegas!

We found the food selection to be poor compared to other buffets close by. The food was bland. Much better buffets within a block of this one.

Hubby at breakfast there and said the OMLETES ARE GREAT!!! But he would not feed lunch to his worst enemy!

Well it is cheap and the food edible and is hot Most of the time...otherwise ...well it is basically ..not the best. But it is a good value because you get what you pay for..lol
We usually do the cafe part or McDonald's downstairs if we are eating "in".

I was really surpised, we ate here last year and hated it. We only went back to use up some of our comps and it has improved. All of the food was fresh and the omlette guy was excellent. It is very small. I would definately go again.

So so buffet and service was good. it fills you up..don't expect to much though! LOL!

The only reason for eating here was the line at the Golden Nugget. However in retrospect would rather had waited and had something approaching value. Food was bland and service flat. An example of this was the salad bar. We ate about 9.00 o'clock and stayed for some fifty minutes. However afther the pastas had run out with only some kind of fluid left, nobody could be bothered to re-fill them. Absolutely no excuse, not if you want to keep people in the Downtown area.

We stayed at the Fitz, and although having read other comments in advance, for the sake of convenience and out of a somewhat sadistic urge decided to try the buffet despite the warnings. Unfortunatly, the warnings are jusdtified. This is indeed the worst buffet not only downtown, but we believe in all of Vegas and we have had occasion to visit some dillies. Food was cold, selection poor and don't even consider presentation. The whole buffet looked as though it had been thrown together with no consideration as to what foods go with what. We also ate at the coffee shop with similar results. Again, the food was cold, the waitress was sullen and the chairs actually hurt to sit in. If you stay at the Fitz (not a particularly bad hotel considering the prices) do not, repeat, NOT eat at the buffet. The way the food is maintained (salad bar temp) you may not leave your bathroom for awhile. Hotel good, buffet bad!!
