We are locals. I have been wanting linquine and clams for about a week. We wanted to go to Mandaly
Bay to look around so we ate at Lupo. My wife ordered a Baily's on the rocks which the waiter forgot to
bring until we were there for 20 min. The breadsticks were ok and the bread with the 2 sauces and
little spoons was fun, although we had to ask for butter. I ordered the bean soup, $9 for a small
amount of soup. The waiter brought it and left. I started looking for a soup spoon and found none.
Could not find the waiter so I started to eat it with the little bread spoons, rediculous. Flagged down
the busboy and he brought me the spoon. I had the linquini and clams, ordered it without chili in it but
it had it. Nice clams, about 12 of them but the pasta was undercooked, aldente?? too much dente for
me. My wife had Cappalini Pomodoro which was ordinary. The bill came to $65. A total rip off. I
could have had linquini and clams at an oyster bar for about $12. Won't go back!!

Meal was good --- better than expected. It was however Mandalay Bay prices - which as we all know is overpriced - but typical Vegas.

The service was good. Breadsticks were excellent. The atmosphere was very open with very high ceilings in a partitioned off open corridor - (you are in a large hallway)

Except for the high prices - a good meal.

This was our only bad meal on the trip to LV in 12/04.

The waiter introduced a special of white truffle risotto (off menu). One member of our party took the bait and ordered it without asking the price (the entrees on the menu were $18 to $35). The risotto was okay but the price was not...$49!!! for a small plate of risotto!!!!

Okay, I know that he should have asked but the waiter is obligated to mention the price if it's significantly higher than the highest other entree.

The other entrees were just so-so...there are many Italian restaurants in Vegas that blow this one away...ignore them and perhaps they will go away.

my wife and i had dinner here after the country music awards. it was ok but i thought the tables and seats were small and felt cramped. the service was good and our meal was ok. i felt the prices were high and guess many others did too since the place was not crowded at all. it was convenient for after the show but enjoyed better elsewhere.

Ordered cioppino (seafood dish). Within thirty minutes contracted severe food poisoning. Management denied any responsibility, but will "review procedures and get back to me". Vacation ruined.

I have yet to be impressed with one of Wolfgang's places. Meal was just ok service was horrible

We were excited at the prospect of dining at this restaurant due to it being one of Wolgang Puck's restaurants. Boy were we in for a shock. I think the quality of the food prepared at this restaurant is an embarrassment to Wolfgang's reputation. Italian?? Our pizzas (we ordered two different ones) were far below any we have purchased frozen at our local supermarket in New York City. This is completely a tourist trap and probably would have had a better dinner at a fast food pizza place. Our caesar salad was a total joke and truly laughable. We had six lettuce leaves on a plate served with what appeared to be bottled caesar's salad dressing. Of course, the waiter was finely prepped in his dissertation as to the training of the chef in Italy for two years and the careful preparation and thought behind each dish served here including how the pizza is prepared in terms of the oven used and ingredients. Mr. Puck, you need to rethink what this restaurant is about. You can't pull the wool over the eyes of some "New York Foodies."

First off, i would never pick a pretentious joke of a restauraut like this to eat at, but my buddy's rich uncle was in town, so his pay, his pick... I ordered the $36 ribeye, which came drenched in what tasted exactly like heinz57 sauce, and if you've ever smelled that sh!t, you know how foul this truly was... anyway, i think everyone else enjoyed their meal ok, and the service was allright. Save yer $$$$ and eat somewhere better, and cheaper. The new italian joint in the Trop is pretty good, and you could eat there 4 or 5 times for the cost of this meal!

We are locals who had dinner there Labor Day while spending the night at Mandalay Bay. We sat at a table next to the railing so people watching was good. The food unfortunately did not live up to the hype of Wolfgang Puck (we've been similarly unimpressed at several of his other restaurants). I had bruschetta which was fine, but the portabella mushroom pizza the waiter highly recommended to me was just so so. My husband had the lasagna which again was just so so. My raspberry martini was a little too sweet. Nothing special about the whole meal. We will not be returning there and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Wish I'd read the reviews on this site before we went! I am a foodie and there are way too many other great restaurants in this town to waste time and money on this one.

Went for dinner with a party of six. The service was extremely slow. The food was nothing special. The atmosphere was extremely noisey. There were waiters and service people running all over and while some would say that shows attention to the customer, it represents poor organization and it has a negative impact on someone trying to enjoy a meal. Additionally, a large party was seated and clearly were too noisey and loud for a dinner crowd. As with some other places in Las Vegas, this one is overrated.
