We had appetizers and drinks at the bar here in August of 2006. The frozen bar was not as impressive as I had imagined. From descriptions on the Web, I had envisioned a thick slab of ice à la the Swedish Ice Hotel. Yes, the bartop is frozen, but it’s just a thin layer of frost, atop an inset metal plate about a foot wide. The service was excellent, and the bartenders were very knowledgeable about their wide selection of vodka.
We tried a flight of Russian vodkas, and the bartender was helpful in explaining the differences. The Siberian nachos were a little disappointing—very average nachos, with a tiny bit of caviar that didn’t really add to their flavor. However, the baked clams Khrushchev, tuna tartare, and calamari were fantastic, far better than average bar fare. I would have liked to try some different caviars from their wide selection, but they didn’t offer a tasting plate. Four appetizers, a premium vodka flight, a martini, and tip were $125.27. Very enjoyable food, and a great spot to people-watch.

Just stopped in for a few martinis and I wasn't disappointed, excellent martinis, great selection of vodkas, and a pleasant place to spend an hour or two with friends. Yes, I paid $12 for a martini, but being from NYC that seemed more than reasonable, so if the prices don't scare you I suggest stopping by to enjoy an excellent martini if you're already at Mandalay Bay.

I was horrified by the rudeness in which my family and I got in this place. I stood at the bar with my friend and her mother for 15 minutes while one bartender kept himself busy doing whatever. Finally I spoke up and said "excuse me". He looked at me and rudely asked "what?". I ignored the rudeness and inquired about the vodka locker. He did not even look at myself or my friend when he said that we had to pay $250 for a bottle to gain access. He turned around before even finishing this and went on to doing something else!!!!! He never asked if we were intrested in purchasing a bottle, or if we wanted a drink...NOTHING!!!!!!!!!! So....we left. And we left being angry and feeling totally dismissed by this bartender. We were there on 10/24/04 at about 10:30pm. I was shocked at the rudeness and total disrespect. They will never get my business. I already told a co-worker about this. The co-worker had told me about this place and was interested himself in going. Now, he will not go there either.

There has not been a visit to Vegas that hasn't accompanied a trip to Red Square. I have always been very satisfied. It is true they are a little pricey, but if you are looking for very premium vodkas, then your search is over. Two of us will typically spend a few hours drinking martinis and "flights" while enjoying cigars and drop anywhere from $120-$150 at a time (vodka only). The service can appear cold at first, however, stay awhile and spend some money and you may find as we have that they will start snipping and lighting your cigars for you! The atmosphere is truly enjoyable and adds nicely to the experience. Whether you are sitting at the ice bar or at a table enjoying a "flight" from a block of red ice, you can't beat it!

Nice place for a special night out if you don't mind the crowd. The seating can be a bit cramped, but the service and food make up for it. The atmoshpere is kind of fun with a certain KGB type of feel to it. The beef stroganoff and the duck are excellent. The drinks are a bit pricey, so take your time to choose the right one.

Let's say given all the hype about this place, I expected more.
I wasn't shocked at the price of drinks because that seems to be the going rate at theese types of places.
They certainly had quite the selection.
The atmosphere was nice but tnot spectaculor.
Same goes for the food, it was okay but nothing to write home about.
I ordered the beef stroganoff expecting it to be outstanding, it was a little better than what you get in the Stouffer's frozen dinner.
My wife ordered the Filet Mignon with the blue cheese and it was fine.
We spent around $125.00 for the meal including 2 drinks.
Let's just say we could have gone to the Bellagio Buffet for half that amount.

Our group of 6 had a very good meal. The salmon with puff pastry was particularly well-received. We have eaten at several of the better LV restaurants and Red Square offered perhaps the best service we have ever had. The wait staff operates very well as a team. Even though the restauant was packed, the service was superb.

To be honest, on entering the Red Square I was slightly disappointed. It was not as excitingly themed as I had imagined, however I still had a great night.
After a couple of interesting Martinis at the bar, we were seated in the rear section of the restaurant. Tables are packed in and you can be quite restricted with space - my table was not too bad though.
The three course meal for 2 with a bottle of champagne came to $230 dollars (including tip) - Food works out at about $75 per head.
The crowd in there was more mature than I had imagined making me feel quite young (which was of great benefit since I was celebrating my 30th Birthday). A lot of business types and one group of about 10 celebrating a 50th birthday.
Service throughout the meal was superb, staff were friendly and always there when required to clear plates, top up champagne etc.
Food was well presented, with a good choice throughout.
Atmosphere is lively and this is a nice place to head for a decent meal away from some of the more stuffy establishments of Las Vegas.
A great choice for a special occasion.

Had a late dinner after the Mamma Mia show. We have eaten there once before and really enjoyed the food, however, the service was awful. We've gone back on several occasions to just have drinks and dessert at the bar. Their raspberry martinis are The Best. Decided we would try eating there again and see if the service was just off that time we went before. No, the service still stinks! The waiter came by and took our drink order, and since we already new what we wanted, our dinner order and he never came back until it was time to give us the check. Somebody else came by and dropped off our drinks and about 20 minutes later, somebody else dropped off our entrees. Was never offered a drink refill and there was no salt or pepper on the table. I finally got up and went to the buffet in the corner and got the salt and pepper myself. I flagged down somebody with a water pitcher and asked for drink refills. The waiter finally came by and laid the check on our table and started to walk away without a word. I said "excuse me, but we would like drinks refills and dessert". Ordered crème brulee without the raspberry sauce. Came out with the raspberry sauce. I sent it back. Their crème brulee has always been excellent, but this was not. The crème had not jelled thoroughly and the brown sugar was scorched. The entrees were still quite good. Beef Stroganoff and Chicken Kiev. Also they were playing the loudest most obnoxious head-banger music I've ever heard. It was awful. There was no way we could hold a conversation without screaming at the top of our lungs to be heard over the music. Too bad the atmosphere and service screws up good food and drink. I have their recipe to make raspberry martinis, so probably won't be back anytime soon on future trips.

We chose this restaurant primarily because it was at Mandalay Bay, and we were going to see Mamma Mia that night. Th atmosphere was only fair, but the food was excellent. I had the blue cheese encrusted Filet, and it was amazing. DH had the beef stroganoff, and he enjoyed that, too. We split a creme brulee with fresh raspberries over it for dessert, and it was possibly the best one I have ever had. And I love creme brulee! I would eat here again, but with so many other restaurants to try in LV, probably only if I was at MB for another reason.
