Sundance Grill - For Dinner

Month Visited: 04/07 - Good Meal
we started off with an appetizer of spring rolls that were sliced in half lengthwise and served over dry noodles. Our entrees were 14-ounce cuts of prime rib cooked medium rare as requested. These turned out to be a notch above typical coffee shop fare. Being gluttons we also shared a very large piece of cheesecake that was pretty good, but would not have played well in NY.

Sundance Grill - For Breakfast

Month Visited: 02/04 - Good Meal
I live nearby and eat breakfast here occasionally. The
coffee shop used to be where their Twin Peaks steak house
is now. Have to admit I liked the atmosphere in the old
coffee shop better with its fireplace, but the new coffee
shop has a counter which the old one didn’t.

Sundance Grill has a typical breakfast menu beyond what is
on special. They are reasonably priced. Sundance also has
orders to go if you don’t want to eat there.

At the entrance there is an expresso stand where you can
buy designer coffee, muffins, etc. You can be hung up for
a while if the cashier is busy filling some complicated
coffee orders since you have to pay your coffee shop tab
here.

All in all the Sundance Grill is a typical generic Las
Vegas hotel coffee shop. The prices are good, as is the
quality of food and the service. The place attracts a
lot of locals, like myself, and the wait staff is on
first name basis with a lot of the customers. More like
a hometown restaurant than a Las Vegas one.

Summing up, nothing to go out of your way for but if
you’re staying at the Silverton or in the area give the
Sundance Grill a try.
