Eiffel Tower - For Lunch

Month Visited: 10/07 - Good Meal
Lunch prices were reasonable on first glance down stairs. Once you're up in the resteraunt the fair prices seem to rise significantly. $8 a bottle for water. $9 Salad with only for sprigs of lettuce. $8 Lobster bisque soup with about 4 spoon fulls. The food was really tasty though. Kind of weird getting off of the elevator right into the kitchen.

I had heard (and read) great things about this restaurant - stunning views, great food etc and booked in advance with great anticpation for my husband's birthday.
Unfortunately, the reality was rather lacking. Access to the restaurant is via an elevator from the casino floor. The elevator rises, and the doors open onto the busy kitchen area, and at first you think you've arrived in the service area by mistake, until you are guided out of the elevator and round the corner to the restaurant. I thought this was rather strange - waiters with full trays jostling for position with guests arriving at the restaurant.

We arrived 5 minutes before our pre-booked time slot, and were told that our table wasn't ready yet. We were asked to have a drink and we would be called over when the table was ready. 20 minutes later we were still waiting and growing rather hungry, but eventually we were led to our table.

The table was lovely, a great view of the fountains which dsiplayed every 20 minutes or so. However, I immediately went to sit so that my husband had the best view (it was his birthday afterall), and was told in no uncertain terms by the waiter that I was to change seats. It appears sexism is alive and well here, and I was to have the view even though it was HIS birthday!
The restuarant was extremely noisy and the air conditioning very cold - it being 46 degrees outside I hadn't thought to bring a sweater! It was also very dark - the table next to ours had to share torches to read their menus.

My entree was a mediocre crab salad. It was disappointing. We had to request a wine list because we were not offered one, we were not offered a pre-dinner drink and gave up trying to attract attention so put up with water.
My husband's entree plate was whisked away before I had even finished eating. So the fundamentals of good service (and manners) here are severely lacking - my husband even felt the need to apologise for how rude that is.
I could perhaps understand if we had arrived scruffy or in shorts, but my husband was in a suit, and I had an evening dress on!

It was when the main course came (a veal T bone for my husband, the salmon for me) I realised we were being very quickly rushed through the meal.
My meal was luke warm and not really very impressive. The salmon was tasteless and rather bland. I wonder if it had been sitting waiting for us to finish the entree.
My husband's meal was barely warm and just 'ok'.

We decided to forgo dessert, eager as they seemed to be to rush us out,and then a complimentary dessert with Happy Birthday arrived for my husband, which was a nice gesture.

All in all though we were left disappointed. Its a shame. The restaurant appears to be trading on the view and letting matters such as food quality, temperature and service slip in favour of rushing through as many customers as possible. And for the price they charge - its really not worth the visit.

I found the food at the Eiffel Tower excellent and while expensive, well worth the price. The wine selection was extensive and there is a wide range of prices so most anyone can find a wine that pares well with the food they've choosen. The wait staff is very friendly and helpful with the wine selection. Needeless to say, the atmosphere is wonderful and the view perfect for a romantic dinner. Before selecting the Eiffel for dinner I read all the reviews that were available. There were several negative ratings that I read and I was a bit skeptical as we went to dinner. My wife and I travel extensively and I find that many low or bad ratings are undeserved. I am happy to report that our visit to the Eiffel Tower Resturant was exactly what we hoped for and we look forward to returning. Overall, a great exprience.

We were really looking forward to dinner at this "romantic French" restaurant with the view of the Bellagio dancing water fountains. We were very disappointed. We had lovely window seats and enjoyed the view of the fountains but although we are accustomed to high prices of wines at expensive restaurants the prices here were simply much too high. The menu was extensive and the food was very good but the enjoyment was simply destroyed by the noise level of the restaurant in general and in particular because we had a group of "harpies" next to us who spoke only in hi-fi. We finally asked them to please lower their voices a little and they did but the staff at the restaurant should have realized that they were much too noisy and handled it nicely. Eiffel tower is not a romantic restaurant. A romantic restaurant is quiet and calm. My water was served in a cracked and broken glass. We would not eat there again.

I was excited to visit the Eiffel Tower Restaurant, after spending nearly two weeks reserching a place to have a romantic dinner w/my husband while in Las Vegas. I made a reservation about 4 days in advance. When we arrived, I was told it would be a few minutes, and waited about 15 minutes in the bar area, where I looked at the most overpriced wine menu I have ever seen in my life. The fact that they don't allow outside wine to be brought in, paired with the outragous prices, was an immediate disappointment. Next we were seated at a tiny round table about 5 feet from the kitchen door. My seat was so close to the person behind me, it took me a minute to figure out where to place my seat. We asked to be moved, even though I felt they should ask customers if that table would be o.k., but they didn't (especially someone w/ reservations.) We we're moved to another seat where we had pretty good service, good (expensive) food, and tried our best to have a conversation over the loud, drunk people packed closely together.

The entire experience was outstanding. This is certainly one of the more romantic high end restaurants in Las Vegas. Highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I had 7:45 dinner reservations on Christmas night, as soon as we checked in with the hostess we were immediatly seated. Our table was directly across from the Bellagio Fountains that ran every 15 minutes for holidays, we could not have asked for a better table. The wait staff was very busy but very efficient. We started with the scallop and root vegetable appetizer that was fantastic. I had the lobster dinner and my boyfriend had the salmon, both were unbelievable, they both had very rich sauces (on the side, not directly on the fish). We finished with the Eiffel tower chocolate plate that came with several different chocolates/mousse/fudge/icecream. Between the breathtaking view, faboulous food and wonderful wait staff we could not have had a better Christmas dinner.

My wife and I went to the Eiffel Tower with some trepidation, based on mixed reviews. We were pleasantly surprised by the warmth, the service, the food, and of the view. The wait staff was pleasant and friendly and cooperative. It was a wonderful experience. The view is breathtaking and of course more enjoyable when the food and service far exceeded our expectations. The wait staff went out of the way to please us especially when my wife informed them she has an allergy to shell fish. They were made sure the food she ordered had no shell fish ingrediants. They could not have been nicer. What a joyful experience. We would return to the Eiffel Tower without hesitation.

This is a wonderful place for that "special" meal in Vegas.

Great views and if when you book you ask for a window seat they will plan there seating plan around that.

Wonderful views of the Strip with the Fountains easy to see.

Service is wonderful, from when you greated out of the lift to the restroom attendant.

Everyone is there to make your visit enjoyable.

The bar is good for cocktails before your meal.

And the Food is just Wonderful.

If only i had found this place before would have eaten there more often.

Will be going back. The price is correct for the level of service and brilliant food.
