In a word, brutal. We sat down and waited what seemed like a month to get a waiter. At long last he came and took our drink orders. The a different waiter came and delivered them telling us our original host had to go home.
The food was over-priced and bad. I was not expecting much and did not get much. Avoid at all costs as there are better places in Paris and other hotels around the area.

What a poor excuse for a Vegas coffee shop. Took 15 min to get in even though more than half the tables
were empty and in plain sight. This is at 7 PM! The hostess said servers were on a break. Give me a
break! I had half a tuna sandwich and soup. Clam Chowder $2 extra. Soup was chalky and no clams,
just white goo. Tuna was dark and dry, ugh! $12.95. Wife had veggy sandwich which she took apart to
eat because the roll was so hard. Horrible! I live here, and most of the hotels have far superior coffee
shops.

- Good Meal
Had a late night meal here. I think they try to seat everyone in the "Outdoor" part of the cafe (really indoors, just open to the casino), so it seems busy. We had a party of seven, so we had to sit "inside", which was almost empty. The food was good, better than the usual coffee shop fare. Service was excellent. Problems with the Diet Pepsi/Coke were addressed to our satisfaction.

First of all my friend and I visit Las Vegas three times a year and stay at either Paris or Balley's and we have on occasion ate at Le Cafe ile St.Louis. The last two times we were very unhappy with the service. On both occasions we left the restauant without eating due to the poor service. Example, On May 5th of this year we went to the restaurant for breakfast at 6:30 a.m. We were seated promptly by courteous personnel. The restaurant was nearly empty and there were numerous wait staff present. We were total ignored. No one even came to our table to ask if we wanted something to drink. I tried to catch the attention of one of the wait staff and she actually turned away pretending she didn't notice me. We sat there for approximately 10 minutes then left. As we walked out of the restaurant I stopped by the hostess station and told the staff personnel that the service was lousy! and we were leaving. They just looked at us like "too bad". I guess our business is not appreciated. We will not try to eat there again, enough is enough. FYI, The Sidewalk Cafe at Balley's is our choice and it is obvious that the management there has made a difference, the personnel are very nice, very responsive to the guest's need, extremly prompt in their service. That's where we eat from now on and we make sure that anyone we talk to is aware of the crummy service we received at the Le Cafe ile St. Louis restaurant and try to steer them away from that restaurant.

I completely agree with the previous ratings that the service at this restaurant is terrible. My fiance and I were seated and we waited nearly 10 minutes before anyone came to take our drink orders. I looked around for the wait staff, only to hear two of them arguing within earshot of us saying, "You take them,"; "No, you take them!"; "Ugh, ok, fine I'll take them." and the waitress walked up to our table! The food (when we finally got it!) was ok, and the portions were HUGE! At the end of the meal after we finished, our waitress said, "I won't even ask if you guys want dessert" and walked off to get our bill. Awful service, snooty wait staff, and the food wasn't that great. I'll never come back here again!

Ate dinner here twice, the first meal was acceptable, nothing special, but decent food at a reasonable price and the service was competent. The second visit was simply awful, to start they brough one drink and not the other until we reminded them several minutes later, next they didn't bring the soup we ordered and I had to ask for it to be taken off the bill, then they seat a person in the non-smoking section WHILE HE IS SMOKING A CIGARETTE, it's not like he sat down and lit it, he was smoking it as they seated him. Finally, the food the second time was nearly inedible, the bun on my burger tasted like particle board and the fries were cold. Sadly, all the other restaurants at Paris are excellent, this is a black-eye on the entire hotel.

Wife and I ate here three times over 7/2-7/9/05. The place is pretty and my wife loves to go there for breakfast always getting the Continental Breakfast (coffee/tea, juice, EXCELLENT assorted breads, jams/butter) which is huge. Too much for one person. Costs $11.50 also. Last time we ate there I ordered coffee and we split the breads. That way you get a decent b'fast at a decent price.
We also had a LATE supper there(2am) after getting out a show and playing the slots a while. Not too bad. Service was OK and the club sandwich/french dip were tasty. If staying at a Caesars property its easy just to do a room charge. A nice place for a good, if slightly expensive, meal.

Ordered the French Onion Soup and Beef Bourguignonne (Beef Burgundy). It started off nicely with the wonderfully delicious french onion soup and was looking forward to the entree. But, as I began tasting the beef bourguignonne, I was somewhat puzzled by less than impressive flavors I was experiencing and eventually it became apparent that it was not as it should be. It was smothered in some brown gravy that looked and tasted like the powdered mix that you make from packtes, it was way too salty, and had a kind of bitter or burnt taste. I had no problem paying the $6 for the soup, but I was really regretting having to pay $15 for that mess. I definitely will stay away in the future.

I'm giving it a 'marginal' thumbs up because it is so inconsistent. Sometimes when I eat there everything is great - and other times it borders on awful. Normally the service is quite good - but we ate breakfast there twice on our last trip in Jan. and once for dinner (as we stayed at the Paris Hotel. Service was bad to very bad every time - as opposed to the last time we stayed at the Paris when the restaurant service was very good). Food was good for every meal except the chili (I know - don't know what possessed us to order chili in a 'French' themed restaurant! But then, maybe they shouldn't even have it on the menu as it was just not edible.)
