Do not order the swordfish and lobster stuffing. No lobster, just generic stuffing. Was there August 2010. Small portiions to boot with a few slices of peppers and sauce. A real rip off, I wasn't even sure they brought me what I ordered. For $50+ per person, I expected much more. We even had a coupon from restaraunt.com and still cost too much. Do not go. Do not reoommend.

You know at $100+ per plate I'd expect descent food but of the 2 meals we weren't impressed and will likely never return to either the Venetion or it's food courts and we are headed back in August.
First off my wife ordered a veal meal and it was undercooked and she only ate 50% of the meal before she gave up and said I just can't eat this it tasts that bad.
Then I'm not much of the adventurous type so I'm happy with a good burger or a pasta dinner but for an Italian restaurant no Spaghetti on the menu. I asked them if they had anything like a simple plate of spaghetti and they stated they could get me a meal off the coffee shop meny which I asked for the spaghetti meal. What I received was simply spaghetti noodles with some red sauce. I could have done this with a jar of Ragu and done better, was one of the most bland spaghetti meals I ever tasted with no meat, french bread, anything. For 50cents I could have made this dinner myself and I'm not a cook and to add insult to injury they charged the regular dining rate in the fine dining of $100 for lowsy food and not the rate of it from the coffee shop next door.
If they have an Olive Garden in the area don't waste your money and go spend it there instead as the worst item on their menu runs circles around Valentinos, I'd even recommend McDonalds over them though.

Be sure to eat @ Valentino's not the grill. All upscale & what a great veal chop. The
service is impecable. Quiet with a refined group of diners. No gang bangers or low lifes
@ this place. We have to say this is fast becoming one of our favorite restaurants. My wife
had the buffalo filet & it was great. I had the Osso Buco and found it equally enjoyable.
Don't forget dessert the Chocolate souffle is scrumptious.

The waiters were nonexistant...and when they showed up, they had a very poor attitude.
We eat at Valentinos in Santa Monica and enjoy it, so this was a real disappointment.

We got to the restaurant and of course
Vegas has a dress code, but we had walked and shopped all day and just wanted a good italian meal and they let us in with our shorts and tanks tops. My two duaghters and I. they were very friendly and the food was excellent. My Filet Mignon was perfect. The appetizers are great. The meal was $180.00 but it was worth the atmosphere, we had a good time us girls! The staff enjoyed the kids and made us feel welcome even though we looked worn out! Thanks! we appreciated it.

Between the 4 of us, we spent over $500. only $150 on 2 bottles of wine while good, overpriced in my non-expert opinion.
The appetitizers were the best part of the meal. My pasta didn't have much flavor and was a tad dry. My meat was charred to death. Dessert was ok. It wasn't so much awful as it was just not worth the money. There was no innovation in the menu. It was like charging a lot for food I could get elsewhere in better condition. I was extremely disppointed.

This is a great place to get true regional food NOT the doctored up americanized version. this is the way they do it in Italy! there are also some very interesting orginal creations from the chef also you can dine be region which is a nice touch. I'll definatly be back several times in the future.
P.S. try the lasagne it is to die for!

This was rated as one of the top Italian restaurants in Las Vegas and on my visit I found it to be the worst. Absolutely the worst Italian dinner I have ever had after spending $240 for two of us. Both my wife's and my appetizer were not good. She had the lobster ravioli (agnolloti) which were not even close to those she has eaten elsewhere. Beautiful presentation using tri-color pasta but undersauced and the sauce was not even good. I had the veal T-Bone for an entree and it was small and tasteless. A superb wine list, the wine menu is the size of the Las Vegas phone books but all of the wines are way overpriced. I paid $59 for a HALF-BOTTLE of Merryvale Merlot, which is about $20 dollars more that it goes in other restaurants. There are two many other good restaurants in Las Vegas to waste your time on this one.
