The place is beautiful and the lobster bisque is indeed wonderful. HOWEVER! The service was just horrible. We had to flag waiters down (other than our own who was nowhere to be found - not even to serve us our dinner) to get a glass of water, to remind them we ordered a drink, to get some bread, etc. etc.
There were more items on the menu without prices than there were with prices - and they were just ridiculous prices! We left feeling ripped off on what was to be a nice anniversary dinner. I would never go back. The next night at Olives made up for it...it was absolutely lovely.

My wife and I ate at Kokomo's on a Saturday night. We made reservations for 6:30. We were seated right away near the atrium. The steaks and crab legs were very good. Good choice for 15th anniversary.

Overall, our meals balanced each other out but...better value and food found at other resturants. I had the salmon with a salsa topping that was strange and some other people might not like. Portion was okay but menu wasn't clear about side dishes being seperate and extra so the salmon is all I got. No veggie, no salad. My husband got the rib-eye steak and it barely fit on his plate. Luckly, he asked for a baked potato and the two were enough to fill him up. Steak was prepared correctly and delicious. Our friends got similar and thankfully, ordered side dishes otherwise we would never have gotten to sample the sweet potatoes. The highlight of the whole dinner. He ordered his steak rare and it was but she ordered a petite sirloin and it was over cooked and miniscule. We ate late and they were still trying to play background music while the bar next door was in full swing. I could barely hear across the table. If you have the cash, the food was definately good but ombiance was lacking.

Way to expensive for the meal. $95.00 for 10oz filet mignon and lobster. Walking the strip later saw the same meal for $9.99. Sides $8.00 each. Horrible experience.

This was the best meal that we've ever had. The service was excellent, and the food was so terrific that we ate there again the next night with the same result; even though both the head waiter and food ordered were different. We shared the entire meal both nights, because the portion sizes are quite large according to past ratings, and this is definitely the case. Not only was the food great, but both nights our bill was less than $70 with a glass of wine for me and two for my husband.
We had a salad both nights, and I would recommend the chopped salad with the champagne vinagrette; it is quite good; my husband even said it was the best he had ever had. Both nights we had the lobster bisque--IT IS A MUST. Hands down the best lobster bisque either of us have ever had. We also highly recommend the grilled mahi mahi; it is truly the best fish I've ever tasted with the sauce they put on it and the bed of leeks it is served upon, there is no need for another side because it is a meal in itself.

Filet Mignon was very good as was the cocconut shrimp appetizer. Seabass was very good as well. This restaurant has very good food, but it is still very overpriced. Waitstaff is slow, yet polite. I heard that they are going to update the decor which is much needed.

Gorgeous Restaurant! The prime rib was the biggest I have ever seen in my life! Just beware....the side dishes are enough to feed 4. I thought they were individual to go with your meal, so we each ordered one...nice meal, nice restaurant.

We picked this for our 20th anniversary dinner, we had our 12 and 15 year old kids with us. It was an excellent choice all-around; great atmosphere - you'd never know you were in a casino. Excellent well-paced service. Prices were typical for nice restaurants in Vegas, entrees $28-$36, everything ala carte. The portions were big. For 4 big eaters, we ordered 1 salad, 1 appetizer, 4 entrees, 1 side, and had plenty leftover. The lobster bisque is huge, probably 16 oz., and the best we've ever had (but you pay for it). All fish entrees are excellent, we tried redfish, mahi, sea bass. The one steak ordered was perfectly cooked. And they brought a complimentary dessert (we had mentioned beforehand it was our anniversary).

We had a great meal. The restaurant is beautiful with the same tropical theme as the rest of the Mirage. The Lobster bisque was great, my wife had soft shell crabs and I had a filet mignon & Lobster tail surf & turf, both excellent. The service was also very good; the only surprise was my surf & turf was market price on the menu which was $90. I didn't ask and they didn't tell but a bit more then I expected. WE laughed about it and loved the meal.
