I loved Bouchon and I will definitely be back during my next trip. I have dreams about this arugala pear salad on the menu. If I'm dreaming about a starter salad, you can imagine what the rest of the meal was like.

Reservations made in advance, not honored. Food server did stand up comedy.
Flatiron steak absolutely tasteless, fries unedible, too much salt. Expected too much got very little. Do not waste your time or money. Keller is using his name to push the restaurant.

The food was excellent, especially the duck, which was so large an appetizer that it could be eaten as an entree. For what we experienced, I think that the prices were reasonable.

OK...the editors need to get rid of the "value" rating category because there are some who think that it means "Is the restaurant expensive?". In the case of Lutece, it would be a value at double the price. You get what you pay for and my $500.00 which included wine and a 20% tip for a party of 2 was worth every penny. The modern, yet elegant decor was conducive to an overall great dining experience. The waiters were extremely friendly and the sommelier was very helpful. The signature appetizer is the "foie gras steak". It's beyond fantastic. The chateaubriand was a mindblower, both for its flavor and tenderness. The portions are also very respectable. Dessert was chocolate souffle. I know every other restaurant in Vegas serves one, but this was truly remarkable. If you have the cash, go in and you won't feel cheated. If you don't then don't complain when your bill comes. Value means you give up something to get something. I most assuredly got something for my money.

Beautiful restaurant and fine contemporary french food. It's quiet and starkly elegant, very much a dignified big city experience within the lights and sounds of Vegas. Only a slip-up in the timing of the soufle interrupted the meal. Have the lamb if it's available.
