Samba Grill - For Dinner

My husband and I had the all you can eat rodizio meal for $32/person. It was awesome food! If you are a meat lover this is your heaven. You get steak, chicken, turkey, fish, sausage, pork, more steak plus 4 sides. Everything was really good but the sirloin steak, and the pork w/pineapple were the very best. The teriyaki chicken was dry and the turkey was bland. Sides are great...caramelized plantains, beans/rice, carrots and creamed spinach that was so yummy! It's expensive especially considering that we only had room to try all the meats one time before we were stuffed. Still, it was so delicious that we will definitely be returning to this restaurant. One negative...atmosphere sucks. You are right in the middle of the casino floor between all the slot machines. Service was very good though and they have a good system which keeps the food coming until you tell them no more.

My husband and I had the Rodizio experience, the servers are great, they were at the table as soon as you turned the little stop light thing. I love the atmosphere of the restaurant. The meats were good, but the sides were not. I thought the plantains were gross, but I had never had them before either. All in all a good night, but not one my husband and I would do again.

WE THOUGHT THIS WAS THE "RUM JUNGLE" AT MANDALAY BAY.....SO SORRY! HOWEVER, FOR "RUM JUNGLE" READ BELOW........ (We'll have to try Samba Grill sometime!?...I can't seem to delete this review?)

I'm a corporate traveler and have eaten at this restaurant 3 or 4 times in the past few years. I only did it because I was with out of town business visitors who wanted the "Brasilian" experience. Take it from a member of a Brasilian family...this is not a Brasilian restaurant. It is at best, a very loose take-off on the typical Churracaria restaurant of Brasil, that specializes in Rodizio (rotisseri) BBQ meats. A good churrascaria will have nearly 25 different rock-salted meats turning on spits over charcoal. Quality of meat is critical. Each visit to this restaurant reminded me of how far off mark they were. What they are really selling here is Vegas glitz atmosphere and a "fun time." Can you have fun here? Yes! Try the fancy drinks, order lots of food, but don't even believe you're experiencing Brasilian cuisine. The best Churracaria in the US is still Fogo de Chao, with locations in Dallas and Beverly Hills for West Coasters. Although expensive, it features the traditional full salad bar with hot entrees and an unending variety of meats brought to your table by Gaucho style servers. That's Brasilian. This isn't. In fact, to date, there are no true Brasilian BBQ's in town. Too bad. In SoCal there are quite a few.

LOVED the salsa with olive oil; would love the recipe for chimi-churi. Felt that the portions were huge and could take no doggy bag as we were out for the day. Service was wonderful; prompt, but not hovering. Would like to see smaller portions and less of a price, but it was a wonderful experience even though I thought this was NOT my kind of food; LOVED every bite

A very good restaurant. My office went here for dinner one night and had a wonderful time. We ordered the Rodizio Style Meal and were just amazed. Tyhe food was terrific and the variety was mind boggeling. When we finished we were all stuffed. Our only complaint is that they brought the food a little too quickly. We would hardly be done with one of the meats and they would be back with another making it a little hard to savor what you were eating. This is being a little nit-picky though and was our only complaint. I would definitely recommend Samba Grill to anyone looking for a different and very good dining experience.

Nice atmosphere, but tasteless food. We were very dissapointed in the food. Husband had this type of meal while in Mexico. Food was overpriced and tasteless. Ordered the ridizio, roasted chicken and the salmon. All were very poor.

This was my second Samba's visit.
Love the food.
Cocktails are huge, and I mean seriously huge and delcious.

Last time we had a close-up hand magician doing tricks at our table.
Added to the enjoyment of the meal considerably.

I love this place and would eat here again without question

My friend and I both had the all you can eat Rodizio for 31.95 each. The food was very good. Well prepared and fresh. I am not a fan of the salad and will not have it again. They bring the meat to your table. The Turkey in bacon is outstanding.

Don't eat here if you are a vegetarian. Otherwise, the meats are amazing!
