This is the BEST DELI west of the Mississipppi! All the food is spectacular, the portions are HUGE, and you will always need a doggie-bag. If you don't like Carnegie's then go back to McDonalds.

THE SERVICE WAS VERY POOR. I ORDERED A CHICKEN BREAST THAT WAS OVERCOOKED AND WAS VERY TOUGH TO EAT. I ACTUALLY TOOK A FEW BITES WITH THE HELP OF ALOT OF KETCHUP. I INFORMED THE MANAGER AND HIS RESPONSE WAS TOO BAD YOU ATE SOME OF IT AND HAVE TO PAY FOR IT. WITH THAT, I AND MY PARTY INFORMED HIM THAT HIS CUSTOMER SERVICE ABILITIES WERE HORRIBLE AND THAT WE WOULD NOT EVERY BE IN THERE AGAIN. WE CLEARED UP THE BILL AND LEFT AND WILL NEVER RETURN THERE AGAIN.

We ate at the Canegie Deli twice during our stay at the Mirage. The first was eaten in the deli. It was a busy Monday lunch hour, but we only had to wait a few minutes for a table. Service was great. We were both going to order sandwiches but our server was very helpful when she told us we should just share one. Thanks so much for the recommendation! The sandwich had about 2 pounds of salami and pastrami. She even brought us extra bread. I was happy with the amount of food and the "complimentary" pickles. But considering the sandwich was 16 bucks, I expected it to be sizeable. I wasn't too impressed with the flavor of the deli meat. It was quite bland, I had to use alot of mustard and salt to give the sandwich flavor. This meal, a sandwich (with the extra charge to share it) an order of french fries, and two ice teas plus tip; ran us $40.
Our second experienced with Carnigie Deli was much less enjoyable. We went in to place a take-out order. The take-out area is definetly in the way of the staff. We were constantly being bumped while waiting. After waiting ten minutes just to place the order the gentleman working was very rude. After spending $40 for a tuna sandwich and a cheeseburger with two ice teas, we had to beg for mustard. When I asked if there were pickles in with the order, he rudely said "You've got to pay for extras." All this being said, I will not be going back to The Carnegie Deli.

A little pricey for a deli sandwich, but the large portion and the friendly staff take the sting out of the bill. I split the Woody Allen with a friend and we were both full. I would eat here again, and do recommend it to anyone passing through the Mirage.

Good but VERY EXPENSIVE. We had potato pancakes, Roast Beef & Chopped Liver Sandwich and Tuna & Chicken salad plate. With drinks and some extra condiments the bill was something like $60.00. This is WAY too much for a deli. But it was good and I had leftovers for days. So – I suppose if you consider you can make 2 – 3 meals out of it then it might be worth it. It was all very good – very tasty. Loved the potato pancakes.

I was not impressed with this place at all.I had the corned beef sandwich, it was huge but thats all it was. The corned beef i buy at Wal mart for 7.00 a pund was better. The wife said her chicken salad sandwich was good, but not worth the 12 dollars she paid. The fries were way overcooked. This was the worst meal i hav ever had in Vegas. The service was pretty slow, which would be understandble if they were busy but there were only about 8 tables occupied.

Got a salad and danish to take to the room. $18!!!! The salad was good, but I would probably order from room service instead, it is cheaper and you get real utensils and a plate. The cheese danish however was delicious. Overall it is good food at ridiculously high prices.
