This is concerning La Salasa at Luxor...The worst nightmare of our lives..The day we got married we forgot to make reso at Steakhouse. My bride said Mexican sounded good with a Few Margurita's.. So we got seated..waitress finally came by to take order for our drinks...took 15 minutes to get..Came by took our order, by then we had finished 2 double gold maggies..waited for over 45 minutes
finally she said would you like more drinks while we wait for our dinner..15 minutes we get drinks..other people who sat near us who showed up 20 minutes after us were already being served dinner Finshed out drinks..seemed waitress and the MANANAGER were having a fight of some sort..I went up to the Mananger and ask what was going on..it was talking to other people who were complaning about the service..Finally the waitress told us to go ahead and leave. Beacuase for some reason she couldn't get the dinners from the kitchen..We got up (with quite a Buzz) and walked on the bill of $38 for the drinks..STAY AWAY From La Salasa at LUXOR!!!!!

This refers to the La Salsa at the Luxor. Maybe we should have known better considering the entire place was dead, but hey we were hungry and how badly can you mess up tacos and enchiladas. Alot...obviously. The food was so bland dead sea salt couldn't have resuscitated it. The portions were small and the food was majorly overpriced. Forty bucks for two meals and one round of drinks. The waitstaff was rude and acted as though we were interrupting their soap opera break for trying to dine in their restuarant. The only good aspect I would have to say was the hurricaine....but maybe that just dulled the pain of wasting good gambling money on crap food that still left us hungry. So hungry in fact, by the time we got back to the MGM Grand we had to pick up some McDonald's. To add insult, to food injury, they decided to tack on an extra tip to my credit card bill. Seeing as how I left a generous though underserved amount sitting on the table, I was more than a little peeved. Skip La Salsa. If you want good food for a decent price go to Kahunaville's at the Treasure Island.

I stop here everytime I'm at the Forum shops and want a quick snack (it's the only good place at the Forum). The service was very good considering how busy they were (went there day after Xmas). I always sit in the bar and get the sampler appetizer. The wings are good as well as the nachos. magaritas are better than average.
I don't think I would actually order a full meal there (too overpriced)but if you stick to apps and a few magaritas you'll be fine.

Being from Texas where we have the best mexican food in the country, I'd have to say I was disappointed in the food quality. The food was OK I guess, but not NEAR the quality of Mexican food or Tex-Mex there is in Texas. The price was reasonable though, but I won't eat Mexican food in Nevada again, being used to the greatness of Mexican food in Texas. We had all great meals in Vegas, but would have to say that this was the worst of our meals at the La Salsa in Luxor.

One of the best mexican food restaurants I have ever eaten at. The service was out of this world. The food was second to none. Not to spicy. The Margaritas are the VERY BEST. I would recommend this to all.
