I have been going to Las Vegas for many years and I don't consider myself hard to please, but this restaurant was just terrible. Granted we ate there late, about 9:30PM, which is not late for most of Vegas, but I guess it was for this place. My husband wanted a pastrami sandwich, they were out of pastrami, so he ordered corned beef. The ratio of beef to fat was ridiculous. I wouldn't even touch it. We are not people to send things back, so he sort of ate around the fat and mostly had bread and some cheese. I ordered matzo ball soup and I have to say that dirty dish water is the only thing I could compare it to. Absolutely horrible. The sides with the food were all lackluster. The egg creams barely had any chocolate in them at all. The waitress just wanted the day to be over. We've all had those days but you have to try and hide it just a little bit.
I love Deli's and as a former New Yorker, I was really disappointed. I hope we just hit this place on a bad day.

What's not to love? Great deli food. Good rye bread. Terrific pickles but not enough whole sours. Waitress was great too! Cheesecake was out of this world. Shared a deli platter with lean pastrami and corned beef and it was enough for two. Waitress brought out extra bread and we made four nice-sized sandwiches for two people. Cole slaw and potato salad also rocked. Washed it all down with a shared "slice" of blueberry topped cheesecake. Slice could've passed for a whole cake. We "forced" ourselves to finish it. What more can you say?

My wife and I and another couple went to the Stage deli at Caesars Palace here in Las Vegas. We live in
Vegas and have dined at the Stage often and have been pleased with the service
and food. (We are transplanted New Yorkers having moved here 10 years ago). Unfortunately, our
experience was anything but enjoyable. My Wife and I ordered a half corned beef sandwich, bowl of
soup and an order of derma. The derma was never delivered as (the waiter said) it was cold and had to
be re-heated. (We suspect the order was never placed with the kitchen staff. This was a full 20
minutes after the soup and sandwiches were delivered. The corned beef was more fat than beef. When
I complained to the waiter, he said, "corned beef is always fat" and walked away!
It is quite obvious that the counter and kitchen staff in this restaurant has to be trained to tell what part
of the beef is fat and what part is beef. To say we were disappointed would be a gross understatement.
I spoke to the manager, a young lady, who was apologetic but offered no remedy or explanation for this
really poor example of what the Stage Deli had become. Frankly, we should have walked out but were
hesitant to do so as we didn't wish to create a "scene".

Food and service were excellent. I had the Hot Pastrami sandwich and it was VERY tasty. Not as big as the NY version, but not as pricey either. Side of fries were crispy and very tasty. Definitely a good place to stop while at the Forum Shops.

We chose to eat here because it was highly recommended by a major travel book on Vegas. Our sandwiches were okay, but not at all what we expected and definitely overpriced. Our server was nice, but she forgot my side and took quite awhile getting it to me. We would not eat here again. There are much better choices in Vegas for the money.

Not necessarily the best meal in town, as the ratings would imply. I have been to original and it is good. However, there are better deals in this city. Sandwiches are good, but service has attitude.

Excellent food. Keeps me coming back. This was our 5th or 6th trip to the deli. We go there everytime we're on vacation in Vegas now. The sandwiches are excellent and large. For those of you from the Northeast, the size of some comes close to those you'll find at the Carnegie Deli in NY. The quality on some items comes close too. One thing not to miss is the cheesecake. This does come directly from the Carnegie Deli. The only problem is, we're too stuffed from dinner to have dessert. Make a special trip for the chocolate rugela cheesecake alone. A slice is about $7, but is enough for a meal (and is the best thing on the menu). Complimentary pickles and pickled green tomatos are served with meals too.

If you are originally from the New York/New Jersey area you will be amazed at how well this restaurant has stayed true to its city deli theme. Bagel with lox and cream cheese was excellent, lox was very fresh. Black and white cookies are a must and the carrot cake muffins are to die for. Great meal for a very low price. Be sure not to miss this one on your visit to Las Vegas.
