Little Buddha in Palms Resort Casino - For Dinner

Month Visited: 12/06 - Good Meal

We entered the reception area of this Paris (the country not the casino) import via two massive doors with Chinese lanterns lighting the way. Chef Gerard Canales, formerly head chef at the highly acclaimed Japenego restaurant at the Hyatt Lake Las Vegas Resort, has introduced many new and innovative dishes while retaining longtime favorites. The dining area itself is dominated by an enormous Buddha and classical and Asian music plays softly in the background. We shared an appetizer of lobster cakes, cumin aioli and Thai mango chutney. For entrees we each chose the Korean barbecue salmon over potato cake topped with a green papaya salad. The meal was superb though our server was personality challenged.

The food here at Little Buddha was tasty and the service friendly. This was not the best food I ever had, but far from the worst. If you are in the Palms and get hungry, you could do a lot worse that Little Buddha. We ate here on a slow Monday night and I found the background music in the restaurant a bit loud, but I'm sure on a busy Friday or Saturday it would hardly be noticed.

Little Buddha in Palms Resort Casino - For Dinner

Month Visited: 07/04 - Good Meal

Wife and I ate at Little Buddha for dinner on Tuesday July 20th. Atmosphere is wonderful, no nasty smell from the sushi (wife can't stand fish smell). We got appetizers of Pork Potstickers and Chicken Spring rolls. Both were excellent. Entrees were Fillet Mignon (wife said it's the best she's had) and Mongolian Beef. Beef is excellent, but a little spicy and it didn't have the little "hot" sign next to it on the menu. Dessert was the liquid centered chocolate cake, which was outstanding. Service was great. Only complaints are that the music is slightly too loud, and some of the tables (ours) are a bit too close together. For two appetizers, two drinks a piece, two entrees, and a dessert, we spent exactly $100. And it was worth every penny. Best part was, we charged the meal to our room and the Palms comped it when we checked out.

Little Buddha is great. You MUST try the ahi and the buddha roll...wonderful not to be missed. We sat in the back and the staff was amazing, very attentive and fun. Not for children or anyone wanting quiet dining.

Little Buddha in Palms Resort Casino - For Dinner

Month Visited: 10/03 - Good Meal

I would like to commend the Maloufs and Staff of Little Buddha Restaurant in the Palms Casino Resort on an excellent restaurant that I think accomplishes what they set out to do.
I have been coming to Las Vegas for events and business for over 20 years and have seen the rise of the food scene there, and I must say for what it advertises, it certainly is.
The Palms has become a hip trendy hangout for the young money, stars and party set, where unlike the mega glam resorts don't take themselves too seriously.
The food is excellent from the first class Sushi ( as good as anything you can get in Vegas) to the eclectic menu which has a little something for everything Asian. I loved the Red Curry Shrimp, Sea Bass as entrees, also the Tiger Spun Shrimp and Chicken Spring Rolls put P.F. Changs to shame, and though I don't usually do desert, you must try the liquid chocolate cake, AMAZING!!!
The service was fine, although they seemed a little rushed they were professional and courteous.
I highly reccomend this restaurant to visitors and well as locals, take advantage now, for who knows how long before this little gem becomes a big chain.

Incredible as always. Ambience, wait staff, everything is just great. Food is quick and
delicious. Feels very intimate and away from Vegas. Like dining in the far East.

Music is great also.

This restaurant isn't good or bad, it's just there in a hip/trendy hotel, right next to the popular night club Rain. The restaurant, just doesn't live up to the hype. You sit down, and Techno music is blasting overhead. You can easily forget that you are in a restaurant, and think that you are in a club. There are a couple of cute asian hostesses that great you, but once you are through the doors, you don't see another Asian person in the entire restaurant. On the menu, nothing really stands out. It's your basic food that you can get at any asian fusion restaurant, but the quality just isn't there, not to mention, that there wasn't much quantity either. There isn't anything special about this restaurant.
