Oyster Bar in Palace Station - For Dinner

Month Visited: 09/11 - Bad Meal

Worst dining experience ever, both my wife and myself were sick the evening and next morning from the dinner.

We arrived early evening with a 5% full restaurant but the hostess tries to seat us at a very small table. When asked for a larger table, she puts us right by the entrance door, next to the waiterís station and by the noisy bar. One entrée arrived greasy, the other was cold. vegetables mushy with very thick skin on the zucchini. Ahi cold inside told by the waiter that thatís how they serve it. If I wanted Sushi we would have gone to Sushi Bar. During packing left over Ahi, waiter dropped fish on the table. Lack of professionalism, lack of detail: more of a back street bar restaurant.

Oyster Bar in Palace Station - For Undecided

Month Visited: 05/11

05/11 In March the line moved rapidly, but this evening we ended up waiting and waiting and waiting. On being seated Ann ordered a bowl of New England clam chowder while I opted for the cioppino, a spicy tomato-based stew that included crab, shrimp, mussels and fish. Both dishes were good, but we were more interested in getting some shuteye than eating after our long flight.

03/11 After a short wait for stools to open at the oyster bar, we each ordered the combination pan roast that included crab, lobster, fish, shrimp and a generous portion of rice. The pan roast is prepared in front of you and it proved to be both delicious and filling.

The Broiler Oyster Bar in Palace Station - For Lunch

Month Visited: 07/04 - Good Meal

The Bouilliabase was the best I have ever had. I have had alot of the soups,
and this by far was the best. "BoB" from Colorado is a great Chef!

The Broiler Oyster Bar in Palace Station - For Please Select

Month Visited: 10/03

I've had a lot of clam chowder, my wife has had a lot of clam chowder, and
we both agreed that this was probably the best clam chowder we've ever
had. The only drawback here is the lack of seating during dinner time
and busy weekends.

The Broiler Oyster Bar in Palace Station - For Lunch

The Oyster Bar rocks. Really good food (and lots of it), made as spicy as you like, Anchor Steam on tap . . . what's not to like? You eat at the bar - seating is limited.
