You would think that such an expensive restaurant would have beter food. 3 people and a bottle of red wine set us back $200 before tip. So far I have yet to have a "Quality" meal at the Santa Fe. It must be the F&B director buys his food from the lowest quality vender. A good steak house is judged by how great the meat is. In the case of the Charcoal Room at the Santa Fe.. save your money and eat in their coffee shop.

For the price of the meal I was expecting alot better since everything was ala carte, I got the NY steak with 3 sides, first the mozzerlla & tomato salad which was ok nothing fancy, and sauted mushrooms and asparagus with hollandaise sauce which the sauce was very good but the asparagus was undercook and also the mushrooms could have used some spice and sauce to it, at first the steak was good but then I notice how much fat was in it, lots of grizzle. Just one thing las vegas, I love things with some sauce and hate dry food so please stop giving sauted mushrooms without a bit of juice and maybe some garlic too. The service was good but I wish when they recommend a steak it has less grizzle.    19033
