This has turned out to be our favorite Las Vegas restaurant for when we are in the mood for steak. We received a basket with 3 types of bread and shared a spinach salad that included red and yellow pear tomatoes and red onions topped with goat cheese. For an entrée we shared the restaurant’s signature pan seared, 22 ounce, bone-in ribeye. The waiter divided it for us at tableside and it was done medium rare as requested. The steak was juicy, flavorful and tender. For sides we shared a large sweet potato that came with maple butter and a rather blah tasting order of sautéed spinach. I use a LVA $25 coupon.

It has been 3 years and at least one change in chef since our last visit, but service and quality remains high. We took a pass on the bread basket, but ordered a delicious spinach salad that was topped with goat cheese, red and yellow pear tomatoes, and red onions. Very good meal. Bone-in-ribeye was excellent. Not too fatty, and I usually get a filet. Cream Corn was also excellent. Ceasar Salad was good, but grilled mushrooms were just okay. Split a huge piece of cheesecake for dessert, which was excellent. Will probably go back next trip. May try the fried chicken.

The two primerib's for 30 dollars was a total rip off, cooked medium and it was pure red inside also the waiter's personality was a cross between lurch from the adams family and charlie manson, also you get two sides between two people which was also a rip off and chinsy too, so glad i paid with some old station points cause I won't be going back there too soon!!!

Based on extensive pre voyage research, we shared Austin’s chopped salad, a rib-eye and baked potato. Excluding service and the bread basket, this meal was a disappointment all around. I just don’t get this chopped salad thing – is it for people without than own choppers? This salad had very little taste and was visually unappealing. The rib-eye was cooked medium rare as requested but was tough. Last and by all means not least in Ms. Westie’s opinion, the huge Idaho potato was undercooked. We did learn, belatedly, the head chef takes seafood seriously and only serves fish that is environmentally friendly and renewable so should we return it will not be for the beef.

First off, I have heard nothing but hype about this place and it needs to stop! The travel guides need to stop talking about this place like it is the be-all-end-all of steakhouses! This place doesn't seem to know when it opens and when it closes (we tried TWICE to eat here when they were supposed to be open and they were not) and the staff is very rude! AVOID THIS PLACE!

There are a few interesting tidbits people aren't aware of @ Austins eg:
the resteraunt is quite kid friendly, they do have chicken fingers and french fries along with access to pasta from the italian room next door. Also upon being seated a fruit plate is given to young children to get them going.

Now, as far as a great meal I'd reccomend starting with the bacon wrapped shrimp served with a brandy-dijon mustard sauce, next move onto the tomato and mozzerella salad paired with extra virgin olive oil and balsalmic vinegar(large enough for two)for the main course, the pan seared ribeye accompanied by a garlic butter cilantro sauce (served on the side)(this steak although somewhat fatty melts in your mouth)and for sides shoot for the austins potato(pan fried and topped with maui onions)along with sauteed button mushrooms(sides also large enough for two).Talk about heaven!!!!!

little tip don't forget to ask your server about nightly specials and fresh fish. Be prepared for a cozy evening with a delightful staff and belly filling bliss!!!!

Pan fried rib eye with the dipping sauce was excellant. Great bread basket but not enough butter served with it. Onio soup could have been hotter but overall a great meal. I'll be back soon.
