- Bad Meal
It's been a few years since I last ate at the Cafe Bellagio. On my last trip, we decided to go for a late meal. Walking through the conservatory is always nice, but once inside, it wasn't so great. My fish and chips had thick batter and was very hard. My friend had meatloaf and said the Cheesecake Factory's is much better. I know this is just a coffee shop, but the food is no longer to the standards of the Bellagio.

This is probably the tastiest 24 hour food in Vegas, or at least on the strip, but its rather expensive compared to competitors like the Barbary Coast's Victorian Room right across the street. As much as I've enjoyed late-night meals at the Cafe Bellagio, I think the more-than-edible (really rather good) $3 late-night specials at the Victorian Room will be my staple Vegas coffee shop food in the future. It goes without saying that during normal dining hours you can find something more interesting to eat than to the essentially standard coffeeshop fare served here.

A lovely place to eat right off of the conservatory but rather expensive for a coffee shop. For dinner my wife and I each had the filet which was $29 and the most expensive item on the menu. It was a very nice 10 oz. steak cooked perfectly medium rare as requested. Check was just under $90 not including tip for 2 salads, 1 soup, 2 entrees and 1 dish of sorbet with coffee and no alcohol. This is a lot of money for a coffee shop dinner, but the quality of the food approached the quality of some of the more expensive restaurants. We also had lunch there one day and it was very good but expensive also.

It's the Bellagio's answer to the 24hr coffee shop found in every casino and like most things there they did it right. We got there late so it was just a short wait to be sitted, our order was taken propmtly, and our beverages kept full, the food was much better than most coffee shops. Our chicken fingers appetizer was pricey ($9) but they were outstanding, I had a BLT (comes with avacodo) that was excellent, and my fiance had the Cobb Salad (it was huge, she could only eat half). Overall, it was a good meal, a bit on the expensive side, but I'd say it was worth it.
