We had coupons good for 2 out of three (appetizer, wine or dessert) from a mailer sent to locals. The restaurant occupies the beautiful and largely unchanged space formerly known as the Il Fornio Ristorante. Our server, Peter, brought us a bread basket and a wonderful relish tray with mixed olives, chunks of Reggiano Parmesan cheese, fried zucchini chips, roasted red and yellow peppers plus artichoke hearts. Our appetizer was a beautiful Carpaccio – thinly sliced raw steak caressed gently by EVO, fried capers, arugula and shaved Reggiano Parmesan. We each enjoyed a glass of the house Chianti that perfectly complimented our entrees. My wife chose ravioli filled with spinach and ricotta in a tomato basil sauce. I took our server’s recommendation and chose agnotti (cheese ravioli) with a rich and delicious tomato meat sauce. Both pastas dishes were house made and melted on our palates.
We closed out this feast by sharing a “torta golosa”, a molten lava cake with vanilla gelato beautifully presented in the shape of a swan (until the piece forming the head and neck toppled over). Service throughout was perfect.

This was the best meal I have ever had! The prices are high, but I believe that it was well worth it. We were seated right on time for our reservation, and were quickly given a plate of antipasto. I ordered the Pollo Alla Parmagiana which was $24 and did not come with anything other than the chicken. But it was so amazingly good that it didn't really matter. My husband ordered the Ossobuco Alla Millianese because we both wanted to try the Saffron Rissoto and that was amazing too. Our meal ended up being $100 for the two of us, but I think it was well worth it for the quality.

I had to wait over 30 min past my reservation time to be seated. The sommolier did not come to my table until AFTER I ordered $120 bottle of wine, then he only came by to fill glasses (something the server could have done herself). The menu was confusing and the wine list was the most outrageously priced I have ever seen. Overall, I was disappointed by everything except the actual food.
