- Good Meal
The food was average and costs just as much as the buffets in bigger/newer hotels. I had wished I had not gone out of my way to go there and spend more money for medium tasting food. The pool there is awesome there and was fun to see!

We had dinner there Feb 13th. Previous trips we always had this buffet and loved it... but man has it changed. Not a very big selection of vegetables and no "hot" bread of any kind. Salad was good but the fruit choices were frozen melons and the sort. Landry seems to have put more effort into having oriental and sushi than just plain food. The desserts were good but the bread pudding is not like it used to be. PLUS you have to ask for most of the desserts...not sure why...but that was annoying.
Service was not great had to MAKE the waitress look at us. Not a good experience food wise, service wise or value wise.

Another excellent buffet. We had read about the quality and value of this buffet, and we are very happy that we checked it out. Once again, it had something for everyone in our group and we will be sure to return on our next visit to Las Vegas!

First time out to Vegas for us both. We did a lot of research and saw this Buffet had good reviews from different sources. We were not disappointed. Very clean, wait staff very attentive, servers behind the line very pleasant. Good choice options, and several of them. Would make a point to do this one again.

I go to Vegas two times a year and eat their sea food buffet.
IT DON'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS ONE.
Nice and clean, excellent workers and fun casino.
Save a space for me I will be back in August.

I've stayed at the Golden nugget my last two visits in Vegas and eaten at the golden Nugget both times. Both times the choices were good, deserts very good except for no ice cream which I do like. My only complaint would be they offered some type of broiled steak which was thick and to quote my wife, "Like shoe leather". Finally the service was on the slow side but acceptible.

- Bad Meal
I was extremely disappointed in this buffet for several reasons:
1) Much less selection than at many other Las Vegas buffets
2) Food quality was much lower than other buffets
3) Service was extremely poor (they never re-filled my drink even once) and I couldnt even find anyone to get some extra napkins.
I would never eat here again, I don't know how it compares to other buffets on Fremont Street but all I have eaten at on the strip are much better, they are also a few dollars more but for my money it is worth the extra to get better food, more choices and better service.

Overall it was just an average buffet that you could get at any hotel. It was a little expensive for the food offered, but everything in Vegas is expensive. The service was very good and attentive. The desserts were not very good and you had to ask for them over the counter.

I had a very good meal, nice beef and back ribs. But it could have more salad options and ice cream. The deserts were good though, I like the small bite size deserts. Good service too.

The Golden Nugget has a decent if not great buffet. I was staying next door and wanted to eat somewhere close so, my wife and I decided to try this place. It was a Sunday and it was crowded as it seems most people staying downtown were eating there. Selection is alright but could be better. The food I ate was good enough. Overall it is pretty reasonable so, I would somewhat recommend it, but there are better buffets out there.
