We were heading downtown and wanted to hit a buffet. I had been to the Nugent and thought it was decent but a tad pricey. So, after doing some investigation, my wife and I decided we would give the Buffet at the Fremont a whirl. Overall we were somewhat pleasantly surprised. Don't go in expecting Paris or Belaigo quality here. However, the food they do put out is good and the price is right. Decor is right out of the Regal Beagle but that didn't bother me. I don't understand the bad comments. This was a pleasant surprise. Quiet, lower lights, few kiddos, excellent service, with relaxing Hawaiian decor.

The buffet was smaller in quantity but excellent in quality. The stone crab claws were excellent, and the sushi was served on chilled marble platters. FRESH! Everything there for a great meal.

A quiet never rushed atmosphere a few feet off the madness of Fremont St.
A 2-4-1 is always available at the security office.

I will be back my next trip in March/09.

Was in Freemont area on this night so I thought I would give this buffet a try . I was terribly disappointed. This was steak nite. Steak was small and
maybe 1/2" thick at most. Other items which I tried were awful. Roast beef
too tough to cut with knife supplied. Carver even had to sharpen his knife
while cutting. Everything else either too spicy or overcooked. Desserts also
very poor. Only nice thing was the dining atmosphere. Will always go back to
Spice Market or Le Village Buffet. May cost more but well worth it.    19916

We visit Las Vegas twice a year and stay at the Golden Nugget because of the close proximity of all the hotels and casinos. We eat breakfast and dinner every day at the Fremont Paradise buffet. There is simply no place else that can come close to it for value, selection, quality and accessibility. There is a seafood night three times a week and steak night twice a week. If you are fond of these two items, there is no better "bang for the buck" available in Las Vegas. You can probably get more atmosphere, more attentive servers, or more selection elsewhere, but you will also pay a lot more for those things. I keep coming back to the Paradise Buffet!    20154

Six of us had the Friday night seafood buffet and used a 2 for 1 coupon so it came out to $9 per person. I stuck mostly to the split crab legs, boiled tiger shrimp, shrimp scampi and a couple of veggies. What I had was very good and a great value. They have real butter not that oil substitute. They also have the regular fare also but I didn't bother with that. Highly recommend especially for the price.    19850

We had a coupon for a 2 for 1 deal. Have always enjoyed the casino but never tried the buffet-will come back ASAP. One of the few buffets I've found that had stone crab claws-nice in the morning. The salad bar is so-so but everything else was fine. Very good prime rib-the Boyd properties seem to do very well with their food venues.    19594

We were 4 Weeks in Vegas this Summer. Every Day to a different Buffet.
This is the worst of ALL.
It start´s with the Parking. Only Valet.
Then you walk in and you think you are in a Nightclub, so dark is it.The Lamp over our table was dead. So we got a nother one, otherwise we were not able to see our food.

This is one of the places my wife and I try to go to at least once while in Vegas. We go to the Tuesday or Friday Seafood buffett. For the price we think it is one of the better values in Vegas for seafood. There are usually clams, mussells and three kinds of crab as well as several shrimp and fish dishes.

The desserts aren't great but are OK. We have always had good servers. The price was either $15.95 or $16.95 per person which we have thought was fair for what we get.

Don't go there with the same expectations as if you are going to the buffetts at the Bellagio or Paris but again it is good enough that we plan to eat there again this december    19485
