For 9.99 dinner with casino card, it is pretty good meal. Though it is not as good as the Paris or Bellagio but it is still above average. It has less choice than Red rock but the service and atmosphere is excellent. The selection is still plenty.

- Good Meal
After not visiting Las Vegas for 3 years, we almost decided to skip Sam's Town due to the bad rating posted, but are glad we went. Service was good, and the breakfast menu was good (especially the made to order omellette's). We ate both breakfast and dinner, both meals were good. Example of service was a napkin fell off the table, and wait staff had another there before we even asked. Will return again next time we are in Vegas

I'm glad the buffet was comped because I sure would have been unhappy had I paid for it. I didn't think the quality or the quantity was there. Maybe because it was a Monday night and that's a historically slow night. I thought the Harvest Cafe was much better and so are any of the eating places in the fast food court.

For the less expensive buffets, this one has some very good food for the price.
One of my pet peeves, however, is when you're halfway thru your meal with no drinks! :( Either allow self-service or provide prompt service! Hey, I'm a big girl, I can operate a soda dispenser. No drink server so I grabbed a glass and went and got my own and got majorly yelled at, as somebody else already said. :( I yelled back! :)
Only other problem is that it's off the beaten path, unless you consider the beaten path to be Boulder Highway. :)
Oh well ...

This is strictly a bang for the buck place. The service is ok on a good day and bad on others. Seems they always want to stick you a half block away from the buffet when seated. Why does it take 3 people to be seated at a buffet anyhow? Bush economy? The food is usually good, somedays it seems it gets left unattended. The lines are terrible at the grill at times and the setup has everyone tripping over each other. Desserts are pretty good, but most cakes on diplay aren't out for the taking. You need to ask and they will get you a slice. Oh, and DON'T get your own drink, they'll literally bitch at you. If it wasn't such a good deal we never would go back. But since it is usually close we go just for the economy of it. P.S., the slots a very very tight. Don't believe the ad in front saying best slots last 5 years. We've dropped a boat load and haven't found a good machine yet. Main Street is better, much better for Buffet and slots.

We visit Sam's Town at least three times a year. I always hit the buffet at least once usually leaving disapointed. This pat trip we were suprised at the buffet. They have improved things so much that we went twice for dinner (one of them steak night). The buffet is pretty good now and an excellent value for the money. WTG Sam's Town for improving the buffet!

We ate at this buffet only because we're senior citizen's & were told with the player's card at noon buffet, it would only cost $4.99. Sure glad we didn't pay any more than that - both very disatisfied. The desserts were exceptional,
but everything else very, very substandard. We definitely won't eat there again.

This is by far the smokiest casino and buffet in the city. You wont find too many younger people here. Take no offense but this is a locals casino where old people spend their social security checks. 30% of the slots are occupied by handicapped people. I have once witnessed a man in a wheel chair that had a traciodomy and he had the cancer stick stuck into the hole in his neck while dumping quarters in the machine. My God!!! I dont eat meat but just attack the seafood items and there werent too many things there for me. Smokers are in the same room with non smokers too. Its normal here because no smoking laws in Nevada are 30 years behind in their time. The food wasnt deadly but it works well for smokers with no taste buds. We sometimes go because they always mail us free coupons.
