- Good Meal
This buffet had a lovely atmosphere and was my favorite buffet experience in Las Vegas. It is downtown- but well worth the trip. It is inexpensive, but the food actually tasted better than the buffets I paid twice as much to eat at. Go! You will love it!

- Bad Meal
waaaaaaay overrated! I always enjoyed the Main Street Station: what happened? The ox tail stew, once my favorite, were inedible. Most of the food was bland, overcooked, and on the table too long. Never again!

We returned one year later & the food is still great! All the normal breakfast items along with pizza for those of us that can't get enough. It is a beautiful venue & probably the best downtown. I enjoy it because unlike other buffets they put out lunch foods very early. With the American Casino Guide coupon it is 2 for 1- supper value!

Ok, not great, but nice surroundings.
Probably the best downtown. Much better than the Nugget.
Go to the security office of fremont st and show your out of state drivers lic.
You will get a coupon for a 2-4-1 buffet at Station and the Fremont.
Both Boyd properties.
The Orleans and Gold Coast are much better for a similar price.
Also Boyd properties.......Go figure?

I go to Vegas two times a year and eat their sea food buffet.
IT DON'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS ONE.
Nice and clean, excellent workers and fun casino.
Also eat every breakfast here, can't beat the food or price.
Save a space for me I will be back in August.

Went for the filet & scampi night. The scampi was cooked in giant woks, several hundred shrimp at a time. the sauce had butter and garlic, but was somewhat disagreeably creamy. the shrimp themselves were not so overcooked and fairly tasty.
They did *not* make filet mignon to order. They grilled them dozens at a time, then held them in giant containers, one each for rare, medium-rare, medium, and well-done. The steaks were petite but they let you take two at once.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that "rare" was in fact rare - red and bloody in the center. I ate three or four filet mignons, and two servings of scampi, etc.
The pizza station had a japapeno pizza, which was a nice touch. The collard greens were correct, and the mexican food seemed as good as it gets in downtown Vegas.
Because we used the 241 Fremont Street Coupon (pick it up in the NV visitors center in Primm on the way in, redeem it at the O2 bar in Fremont Street Experience) we got two buffets for the price of one. The lady was a little edgy because we'd used the coupon already in the last calendar year, but not quite 12 months ago.

What a great place to eat. The variety of different foods they have was really good and even though it was steak night when we were there they weren't over cooked which was suprising to us. The dessert bar was out of this world. So many to choose hard to choose just a few. Service was good. Didn't like that they use paper plates instead of regular plates. But all in all it was a good meal.

I visit Las Vegas often and have eaten at many hotel buffets. I was very pleasantly surprised by the
atmosphere and excellent quality of the food here at Main Street Station. At first I was hesitant to believe
that a downtown hotel could offer anything with a modicum of class, but I was immediately taken by the
lovely Victorian train station decor that did not appear dated at all.
We had the champagne brunch for $9.99. The omelet bar was fabulous as well as the extensive offering
of other lunch entrees. No need to spend a fortune on The Strip. I will definitely come back here on my
next trip.
