the hot food we tried was cold it seemed to be all leftovers from the lunch menues the lasagna was all dried and crusty mashed potato was cold the veg wass cold the meat was cold and so on we complained but the server who was trying to be as helpfull as she could said she could not find a manager anywhere in the 50 mins we stayed there no one checked any of the serving stations we could see to either stir or temprature check any of the food so for the price of the dinner buffet i would expect better than cold left overs from the lunch buffet

For the money, I was a little disappointed. While they offer a huge variety of food ... Italian, Asian, Mexican, raw bar, carving station, salad bar, desert bar ... I felt the overall flavors of the food was a bit sub par and about what you would get at a cafeteria. The items in the Italian section were downright poor in appearance and quality. (Were they actually serving fancy frozen pizza???). I did enjoy the carved ham and roast beef and the creamy horseradish had a killer kick. My favorite item was a sandwich I made at the deli. While it was good, a sandwich should not be the highlight of a meal costing more than $20.00. I know you are paying for the huge selection, but the flavor has to be there too. We probably would not come back.

Anyway, not problems with this buffet. It was nice and big very roomy, didn't wait in line for very long.

The food here was OK. We had a $50 voucher that came with the hotel stay. I would have been disappointed if we had paid $25/person for the dinner.

We've stayed in The Mirage for a few days in January,2009 for our honeymoon.We had our breakfasts in Cravings twice,because my wife asked me again and again to go there))) An exellent mexican food!! (guacamole,spisy fruit salad,pico de gallo,etc.),I,m from NY City,She is from Finland,and even Bellagio buffet and Seafood buffet in Rio didn't impressed her))

We've eaten at Cravings buffet many times, and have always been pleased with the service and selection. This time, we were surprised to find they'd jacked the prices up for Labor Day ($35 per person for dinner!). There were no signs advertising the price change. This was irritating, but we were hungry so we paid without complaining and went in.
Even though the evening was early, the selection was poor, with trays clearly left over from lunch still there. The hummus was crusted over, the fresh shrimp was suspicious, and the ribs were dry. The only vegetables to be had were a broccoli/cauliflower medley, or a line to have a cook put a salad together for you (no salad bar). Mostly, the offerings were deep fried and starchy. We were extremely disappointed.
I don't know what happened there. Maybe the usual menu planner had the weekend off, or maybe they've decided they only need to offer deep-fried carbs with a couple other selections. I'd only eat there again if the meal was free. Otherwise, I'll save my money and find better food elsewhere.

I thought this was one of the best Buffets we have had. A little pricey but worth it!
Service was good until the lady went on break or got off then there was some confusion on who was to take care of us I guess...we got that straightened out and it was better.
They had a wonderful salad bar (It was weird that they prepare your salad for you and toss it in a bowl) but everything was so fresh and delicious. The fresh ruit was wonderful.
They had several stations, chinese, latin, BBQ, italian, Seafood, Noodles, carved meats etc.
We both tried a lot of stuff ...and it was all really good. (THE BBQ ribs were pretty good!)
The one thing that I noted and it is this way every where...you just don't find many simple cooked vegetables on the buffets...like beans, peas, corn...
The mashed potatoes were really good though :-)
I decided this will be a regular visit for us. We used to always go to the Spice market but I think this is every bit as good.
Again...mmmm delicious deserts...Oh and the Gelataria was AWESOME!!!!
