My husband and I were looking forward to eating here since it had been showcased on the Food Network. BIG MISTAKE!! This was the most expensive and worst meal that we had while in Las Vegas. The food quality was horrible! Although there was a large selection of items...a big selection of YUCK is not worth choosing from. Please...do not risk polluting your taste buds. Danger...go back...do not enter!

upon visiting L.V for the first time I did some research on some hotels, and the buffets. A group of us visited the RIO to eat at Carnival and we all agreed that this was the best food at a buffet. I would definitely eat there again and again. best time to go for dinner is just after 4pm.

We had always hesitated to eat here due to the mixed reviews for this buffet, but we found it to be wonderful. We tried it because my husband really wanted a steak and I don't eat beef, so a buffet is a compromise. We found a coupon for a "cook to order steak" to be included with your meal, so we took the shuttle from our hotel, which was very convenient and free, over to the Rio. We went on a Tuesday night, Fat Tuesday to be specific and thought for sure the line would be long. 15 minutes, if that much. The server was very efficient and was there right when we needed her. The selection of food was enormous, probably the largest of any of the buffets we have tried, and I have tried most of them. My husband said his steak was wonderful and to be honest - it smelled really good. The crab and shrimp were excellent and the desserts were lovely. I don't really know what else you could want? They basically had everything and it was all well prepared and hot when it was supposed to be and very cold when it needed to be. We definitely reccommend it.

This was it!! Unbelivable selection, it was a bit pricey, but I dont mind paying for a meal if the food is good. IWhen in Vegas stop here if you like buffets this is the best in town>

This is my favorite, more choices than any where on earth! Everything is good. The down side is it's off the strip, still easier to get to than the Strosphere. A little pricy, but everything in Vegas is now. Better than Mandalay Bay.

This buffet is huge. Each world region had a large selection to choose from. I loved the Mexican and Asian stations. The sushi was good but not a lot of variety. You can build your own stir fry that is cooked right in front of you and the cook adds whatever kind of meat you want. I liked this buffet because it wasn't just fried chicken and mashed potatoes. There were foods for people of all ages. We used $5 off coupons, even with that it is still a little expensive. I would recommend eating here.

I hit this buffet for a very early breakfast on a Friday morning. I was second on line, so waiting was not a factor. The drink service was exceptional and the staff was ultra friendly. Besides the fresh omelet station, the food was an utter disappointment for the price ($15 plus tax...there are coupons available for the buffet, but I was dining alone so they would not take the POV 2/1 and I forgot my CP $5 off coupon). The waffles were dry, the eggs benedict were a disgrace (cold, mushy muffin, gross sauce), the scrambled eggs were undercooked and the croissants were stale. I was not overly impressed with the selection, although they did have some Mexican style breakfasts available. I will not be returning to this buffet for breakfast...you can find me at the Paris or Orleans buffets ;)

WOW! What an amazing selection of food. We stopped in on our last day in town and were blown away by the selection and quality. I just don't understand where all the negative comments are coming from. There was literally something for every taste, and all that we sampled was fresh and appetizing. we had numerous "dining" experiences in Vegas that were alot more expensive, and alot less appealing than this Buffet. In fact ,we tend to avoid buffets in Vegas, but the Rio is an exception.

You just don´t get what you pay for!!!!!!!
Very large selection is not all.
The 24 dollar for the champagne brunch on sunday are absolutely ridiculous.
Very bad value!
