To start things off the price was even higher than advertised. Once seated had to ask for the obvious things like a high chair for a 1 1/2 year old child. It looked OK at first glance, trouble was nothing was hot, and if it was hot, as for example the eggs benedict you could not cut the muffin with a knife, it had to be broken using a prying motion.
While we kept trying to find something edible we collected several plates, and finally had to ask for them to be removed. We have spent our last trip in this business, phones that dont work, heating and cooling that has a strange label indicating it is tied the outside temp, no changes are needed or possible. At 75 degrees @ 2AM when its 55 outside tells me that is lie. Oh and then to add to the insult they charge #3.00 each day for energy and $1.00 for phones. Place is in a poor state of repair, something akin to the North LV and beyond.

Has all the ambiance of a school cafeteria. The desert selection looked like more than half of it was the same kind of yellow cake just with different frosting. The pizza had one lonely pepperoni per slice. Prime rib was fatty and had an off taste. Very limited selection of entrees. You can do better.

Dinner only cost 6.99 if you use Sahara card. No casino can beat this price but the quality is only average. Prime rib is not bad but the desert is not impressive. Selection is ok. The service is bad, you have to look for your own table.

Good selection for dinner. Prime rib carved each night. Quick to get in once you finally get there. Only complaint is the location. Down at the fare end of the hotel. Come in off the monorail and you will need to take a few breaks because of the walking distance you have to walk to get there.

A nice value in a large, comfortable setting. Dinner had a carving station of prime rib, ham or turkey. Make you own taco's, Pasta (alfredo or marinara), fish (trout or mahi mahi), fried or baked chicken, two soups, omlete station, vegetables, rice, meatloaf, three dirrerent types of pizza, salad bar and wide selection of fruit. Lunch was pretty much the same.

Had tickets to show here and made the mistake of eating at the buffet. Foods were cold tpo warm. Dinner plates need to be checked as food crusted many plates that I had chosen.
Place looks like it needs a good cleaning due to the poor lighting. Floor staff were the nicest thing about this buffet.

I wonder if the negative reviewers were at the same place as I was. I've stayed at the Sahara and eaten at the buffet numerous times over the past year, usually haveing breakfast and dinner. Each time the food was well above average, the place was clean and there was staff hovering around cleaning tables and taking plates, etc., from our table too. They had a nice variety of main dishes, the vegetables and fruit were fresh, not canned, and the omelettes were great. The meat at the carving station was in par for the price. My only complaint is that the deserts could have been better. It might be wise also to remember that we are talking about a ten-buck meal here, folks. I think it's a good deal for the money.

Seated immediately. Very good breakfast buffet with lots to choose from, even an omelette bar. It was nice to see crisp bacon for a change and sausages that were cooked. They also had great biscuits. I would definitely come back for this breakfast buffet as it was very tasty and not a lot of money compared to some of the other breakfast buffets out there.
